The care of the staff has been so abundant at Awesome kids, now Northstar. Dezi, in the 2’s has made the transition for my toddler so seamless. She loves every one of her kids and it’s very apparent. Amy, the centers manager, has been so helpful with every question or concern I have had. She really does so much for all the families. Connie, the centers cook, she loves every one of the kids and works so hard to make sure they have full bellies while having the most fun!

Sia McCoyMar 14, 2026North Star is a great preschool/daycare but I want to say I recommend Dezi she is kind heart with the kids and parents. She has a strong relationship with each of the kids that she teaches she is willing to work extra with any of the kids that may need it. She has a way with the two year olds that is amazing. She is willing to help anywhere that may be needed with her students. I would recommend her to anyone who asked me that wanted a teacher that will give their kiddo the support they needed. Thank you Dezi for your hard work and support with the kids in your class.
Lisia HeuettMar 14, 2026Dezi is great with kids of all ages. While she is the twos teacher I have been able to witness how she individually reacts and responds to each child’s personal needs. The bond she has with each child is amazing! Although she does good with any age in the twos class she puts her effort in potty training each child. 10/10 recommend Dezi. Northstar Preschools is so lucky to have an asset like Dezi on their team.

Kaiden KaufmanMar 13, 2026Dezi is truly a 10/10 teacher. She has so much patience and grace with kids of all ages, and you can tell her heart is fully in what she does. She cares for every child as if they were her own and makes them feel safe, loved, and valued. I’ve seen this both personally and from the outside, and it’s clear she has such a special gift for working with children. Anyone would be lucky to have their child cared for by Dezi!
