  • Great local health club. We love the amenities and it’s always clean. Staff is friendly. We will be long-term members for sure!

  • I’ve been going here for a long time specifically because they *had* the most consistently HOT dry sauna, usually between 190-210° - I looked forward to this every day. A few weeks ago they “fixed” the sauna and it hasn’t gone above 155° since, and because of the craftiness of their dry sauna, a hot shower feels hotter and more soothing. Put the temp back to 190°, literally no one is using the sauna since this fix. Please raise the temp.

  • The Ogden Athletic Club is a great place to be. The staff are always friendly, There is plenty of equipment so nobody ever has to wait for a workout. All of the amenities are well kept. The pool is one of the best places to just hang out and relax. I love being able to hop into the pool after a good workout, or you can work with a personal trainer, there's physical therapy, and plenty of space to play. The basketball court is nice, and the indoor track makes walking fun. The kids zone is also a fun place to take your littles to play and be taken care of while you enjoy a workout. I will be coming here as long as i can.

  • I plan to cancel my membership; I joined this gym specifically for the group classes (especially yoga) but I am unable to attend the Yoga class. The very small room cannot accommodate the high number of attendees. I have emailed management requesting the use of one of the larger rooms but my emails are not addressed. I have talked with members who have done the same, they all tell me that they have not received a response to their request for a larger room. In addition, I’m disappointed with the recent Tuesday dance class change. It went from moderate cardio to INTENSE cardio. I have talked with the dance class attendees, they are no longer showing up due to the inability to keep up with the instructor. I would like to note that it is NOT this instructor’s fault, I believe that management made changes with no regard for members needs or wants.

  • Ogden Athletic Club has been an incredible place for both my fitness routine and my family. The atmosphere is welcoming, relaxed, and genuinely community-focused. It feels completely different from the typical gym scene. One of my favorite features is the dry saunas and steam saunas. Sometimes I go just to enjoy that experience alone. They’re clean, well-maintained, and a perfect way to unwind or recover after a workout. I also really appreciate the thoughtful amenities. Providing complimentary gym towels to wipe off sweat is a small detail that makes a big difference. It shows they care about comfort and cleanliness. The Body Pump class is a standout. The equipment is high quality, the weights are well maintained, and the instructors are excellent — motivating, professional, and encouraging. The people in class are friendly and judgment-free, which makes it easy to stay consistent. What truly sets Ogden Athletic Club apart is how family-friendly it is. The daycare for my little ones has been a huge benefit. Knowing they’re cared for while I work out makes it possible for me to prioritize my health. Overall, it’s more than just a gym — it feels like a club in the best sense of the word. Clean facilities, great programs, welcoming people, and an environment that supports the whole family.

  • I have been a member of OAC for 2 years now. I swim laps 3-4 mornings a week, and have watched the pool maintenance decline over the last 2 years. It seems as if the pool/hot tub/sauna area is the club’s last priority. It is rare they are all 3 operating correctly at the same time. The inconsistencies of the pool temperature and water clarity are very frustrating. The morning swim group used to feel like a community- where 8-10 of us regularly swam together and formed friendships; now that group has dwindled down to 3-4. Several long time members have found somewhere else to swim because of the pool inconsistencies. It is also very frustrating that OAC doesn’t send out an email to members when the pool is closed. Multiple times I have arrived at the gym at 0500 to find the pool is closed. I want to keep my membership at OAC because it is a very convenient location, however if these problems continue, I will cancel and find somewhere else to swim.
