I love this place. I was driving back home from California and was groggy and feeling lazy and needed to work out and stopped here. It was just what the doctor ordered!!! Staff was great, atmosphere was very nice and welcoming. No gym bro attitude. I got a good pump. They have a lot of good weights in this gym. Even though it's 600 miles away I will be back!

This gym smells like feet....did the three day free trial period. People there are sort of nosey, constant onlookers during the work out. Also known by the locals as a swingers gym which is absolutely disgusting, wish that info was known before even stepping foot into that disaster

DEFINITELY BE CAREFUL. Greg told me I was being hostile when I was trying to figure out my account. Yet my fiance was saying he wouldn’t pay the balance and he said nothing like that. He texted me all of this and refused to give me the manager’s name when I said I didn’t want to resolve it with him at that point. Basically my fiance and I went in to potentially sign up. We started the process with one person, and were switched to someone else when we were having friendly conversation. In that switch is where the communication went left. My fiance and I thought we were signing up for a 3 day trial. Then we get home and see they have a promo that they didn’t discuss with us. That was for 3 months free if we signed up for 15 months. Which we would’ve been open to had they offered it. My fiance did the training and wasn’t super impressed, I just didn’t do it. After that apparently they had been trying to charge our cards. I usually have them blocked unless I’m making a purchase so I was unaware. Then I get a text from what looks like a personal number from Greg at Retro. Trying to resolve my account. I told him I never went, how I thought we just did a trial and he was just set on his way or no way. I waited for emails he said he was going to send me, then he said he only sent it to me fiance. Then he said actually he didn’t have my email and now that he does he can send it. This happened on Monday, and I waited until Thursday to ask what happened to the email. What I like most about my Retro Fitness experience is the noticeable transformation under the new ownership and leadership. There’s a clear sense of direction and pride in the facility now. The updated equipment is a huge upgrade—everything feels modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully selected to support a wide range of training styles. The new look of the gym really stands out as well. It’s cleaner, more organized, and has a more motivating atmosphere overall. You can tell that real effort has gone into creating a space where people actually want to train and improve. Most importantly, the leadership shows. The environment feels more positive, the standards are higher, and it’s evident that member experience is a priority. It’s made a big difference, and it doesn’t go unnoticed.

Had to cancel membership, I went in person and signed a cancellation agreement. Asked the worker if there was anything else I needed to do, she said no. I got calls from debt collectors for years claiming I never cancelled and owe them money. Unless you want a membership for life (or annoying debt collectors calling), DO NOT go to this gym. If you have to, make sure to put the membership on a card that can not overdraft. That way you can just cancel the card itself instead of being charged after canceling your membership.
