Serendipity Multicultural Center

My wife and I love this place so far! Our son seems like he’s opening up more and getting used to change! I was so nervous about the whole daycare thing! We get updates throughout the day and pictures. Also if ya really want to know how your child is doing. You can text them and ask. It’s a peace of mind your child is cared for and loved while the parents are working.

We have been with Serendipity for about a year now, and I'd gladly recommend them to anyone looking for safe, kind, and quality childcare. There are so many great things about them, but a few that I'd flag: 1. The pricing vs the programming is really solid, with great value provided for the cost. Cost-wise it is on track with what we've paid other providers, with excellent considerations for multiple children in care. 2. The variety and simplicity of the program is excellent. We've done STEM schools before, chain daycares, you name it, and they get really complicated in pursuit of variety. Serendipity keeps the kids engaged with new themes and things to explore, but gives them activities to go with those themes that provide simple joy. Every activity they do is mapped to a developmental goal (gross motor skills, fine motor skills, etc) but it's achieved through play and creativity. Both of my children have thrived with this. For their before and after school care for my school age child, he's able to get down time after school instead of having to do more school tasks in the after school program. They have structured activities, but they play, and it's given him time to decompress from his day. 3. For parents with kids with ADHD, Serendipity is the single BEST school we've worked with. They truly live out an expectation that they improve to understand ADHD in their kids and have a structured environment that helps them thrive. They've met me at all the milestones we've needed, including feedback at med transitions and support when things were rocky. They've left my child feeling safe and accepted, and without shame, and that's unbeatable. 4. Their summer program is INCREDIBLE! They have designed a program that gives kids all the variety they crave and the structure they need. Same cost as our regular before/after school care, but we get full day care. We paid for tickets for excursions, but nothing more for transport or anything. My child has loved this program and had so much fun, while also having the comfort of predictable types of days. 5. Their transport drivers are so safe, and I feel totally comfortable with them transporting my child to/from school and during the summer program. 6. The Spanish curriculum is naturally woven in, and both my children (2 & 7) are coming to learn the language naturally and with confidence. I have continued to be delighted by the Serendipity team. If they are on your list to consider, please do yourself a favor and visit. Their new building is gorgeous, and I can't wait to see how they continue to grow as an organization. We hope to be with them for a long time yet.

Our daughter has been at Serendipity for 18 months (from age 2-4) and we've had such a positive experience. The staff have been responsive to our questions and our daughter has thrived there - mastering her alphabet in English and Spanish, being able to write her name by herself, making really great friendships, and more. They also have done so many community events (back to school carnivals, Halloween parties, etc.) that have been so great to get to know the other families. Above all, we are always confident that our daughter is safe and loved at Serendipity. We are so grateful to her teachers and all the staff.

I am thrilled to write a 5-star review for Serendipity! We have been consistently impressed with their commitment to honesty and continuous improvement, ensuring our child's experience is exceptional. The honest updates about our child's day give us peace of mind, and the efficiency during pick-up and drop-off is truly commendable. One aspect we particularly appreciate is the proactive approach to health – checking every child's temperature at the beginning of the day. This measure has significantly minimized the instances of our daughter getting sick compared to previous childcare experiences. Our daughter, under the care of the wonderful teacher Karina, has not only enjoyed her time but has also made remarkable progress in learning Spanish and developing her writing skills in a short period. We are grateful for the dedication, care, and educational focus Serendipity provides. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Serendipity! They are so friendly, attentive and my son loves going to his class. He has been going for over a year now and he has learned so much! Everyday he comes home with something new to tell me. The staff is great at communicating and letting me know if there are any issues or accidents. They track everything on an appt that I can check on daily to see what he’s up to. I couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend them if you are looking for a great place to take your child/children.
