  • Don’t bring your kids here! This place is truly unsafe. The staff here try their very best, but unfortunately ownership is completely awful. Your concerns will not be heard or validated. Many parents have had issues with the owner. One piece of advice to parents looking into this place: Read the Google reviews for both campuses. Take note of how the owner responds to the reviews. She replies like a moody teenager. I’m not even letting my kid attend the days I’ve already paid for because it’s so unsafe. I’d rather lose the money and take my kid to work with me than let him go here.

  • My babies are obsessed with the play lab ! We can’t say enough good things, we started with the fun character events when it first opened and now that the kids are older there is a super fun adventure camp ! The owner goes above and beyond to make sure the activities are not only trendy and fun but educational! We have had a great experience with all the ladies there and it feels like a second home for kids.

  • Congratulations, your employee doesn’t know how to supervise children at a splash pad. The employee (maybe owner, who people have also had issues with before) was too busy drawing, with headphones in, super far away from these children… one child got their foot stuck and a Good Samaritan stepped in and helped. Kids should be watched closely, for many reasons! Even my 5 year old is watched closely at splash pads. Things can happen. This splash pad has easy road access and bathrooms, where any children could wander off to or get taken to without the employee noticing.

  • Safety is not a concern to some workers. Children left completely unattended on field trip.

  • The administration blindsided us at 6pm the night before our kid's schedule school day, by messaging us on an app that doesn't notify you of messages, that our kid had been terminated from the program. I found out on the way in and had to completely adjust my work schedule while my husband is out of town on a work conference. The potential for termination was never brought up in our many in-person conversation. This should have at the minimum been an email, but in reality should have been a call conversation so we could have prepared. Now, our kiddo has some behavioral issues in regards to hitting (Which we have been told by them and a therapist is a normal 3 year old boy phase). The staff had been amazing at keeping us informed and working with us. However, at no point we're we ever informed that conversations about our child's termination were being held behind closed doors by admins. In fact, when asked if our kid could be terminated, we were assured by staff that wasn't a conversation being had. Everything we were told was about how we we working together, providing resource, adding an additional teacher to the class, etc. When I expressed these frustration about the lack of clear communication, I was told from Miss Desi that she was not responsible for making the decision, and then told from Savannah that they made this decision as a group. And then told they would not have a conversation with me over messaging, phone, or in person because they "we're not the person to vent my anger to". I expressed anger in a clear and direct manor and did not yell or berate any staff. However, the admins refuse to communicate with me about my irritation with this unprofessional communication. Incrediblly disappointed.

  • I loved the concept of merging education and play in a Montessori like setting, plus the flexibility they offer versus a traditional daycare. However after 6 classes over 6 weeks I disenrolled her - sharing our experience below. (My daughter attended 1 day/week for 2 hours) They utilize the brighwheel app which is a feature I loved. I would receive photos of my daughter during the day, updates on the activities she was doing, what she had at snack time and if she had a diaper change. The classes are separated by age group, however if a teacher doesn't show up/comes in late to work then the classes are combined. There is a policy around the amount of students per teacher and this policy seemed to go out the window during these times. We saw this twice - on one occasion I took her back home due to the absolute choas. (I was previously warned about this from 2 other parents and I wish I didn't disregard this) I liked that snacks were provided but was disappointed that I had to ask for her to receive water. After asking, I was told I could bring her water bottle in but would notice that it was never refilled. Her diapers and wipes were lost within the first few weeks. Her teacher had messaged me saying she was out when she should have had plenty left considering it they were brand new packs (25 count diapers / 900 count wipes). I offered to bring more in that day if they didn't turn up so she could have her diaper changed and did not receive a reply so she didn't not receive a diaper change that day which was disappointing. She was so excited during her first two classes but after that would not want to stay after drop off and would come running up to me crying when I would pick her up. Overall, everyone was very friendly at the Play Lab Draper location but ultimately it was not a fit for us. I hope my experience is helpful!
