  • I was led there and told I could get help with food by Gemini on my phone. completely wasted my time this Saturday..

  • Their intention is well, however, very disappointing that a “community center” is still NOT INCLUSIVE when it comes to neurodivergent kids. My kid did their summer learning program last year and was targeted from day one, maybe it was my fault for disclosing his disability, and they used that to keep a very close eye on him. Every little thing was a problem, even him not wanting to do something he already knew how to do. When they asked me what they could do better on a follow up, I said they could provide a staff member that knows how to work with the emotions of neurodivergent kids. Rather than staff that makes them feel like the problem by isolating them. They say they are not prepared to help kids with neurodiversity situations, and that they would rather prevent situations that make neurodivergent kids feel like they don’t belong by keeping them from participating. However, by not preparing to serve and include neurodivergent kids, who are also a big part of the community, you are already being part of what makes them feel they don’t belong by excluding them from participating. Making you the problem and not them.

  • This is an amazing place. They provide: choir, dance, karate, STEM, arts, soccer and other classes to kids free. They also provide other types of services for adults also free. My family loves this place.

  • There is a class I go to that is called Create Better Health. A demonstration is made of an meal that is healthy for you and if you RSVP that you will be attending that day all the ingredients are given to you for free so that you can fix the meal at home at a later date. Healthy recipes and free food. Can't beat that!

  • I love this little community center. It's a bright spot tucked away on a small street in this little neighborhood. They have a lot of free classes for community members, for both adults and children. They also have a garden and lots of opportunities for volunteers. My little girl and I have made a lot of memories here.

  • Most activities and events are not well planned out. At the recent Christmas event it was overcrowded and definitely a fire hazard in the building. With better planning it could have been enjoyable. The employees are not very professional and they usually don’t have very good volunteers either. My family has lived in the area for several years, but we have gone to very few events because the planning and execution of events is very disappointing.
