Our experience with this preschool was extremely negative. Our daughter attended for only about one month in 2024, but we are still dealing with the consequences, including psychological trauma. What affected us the most was the way our child was treated. She was repeatedly separated from the rest of the class because she did not sing and did not know the anthem. She was also placed on the smallest child’s chair because she was the smallest in height. For a young child, this was humiliating and emotionally painful. During this short month, our child learned what bullying is for the first time. It came from another child in the group. From our perspective, the teachers were unable or unwilling to properly address this behavior, as that child seemed to be important to them. As a result, other children, including our daughter, were left without adequate protection. The teacher’s attitude felt very cold — no smiles, no empathy, no emotional support. The overall atmosphere did not feel safe or supportive for a child. I would also like to point out the very strict rules for parents. Parents were allowed to stay with their child in the drop-off and pick-up area for only up to about 10 minutes (I do not remember the exact time). At the same time, there were toys both in the classroom and in the lobby/drop-off area that clearly interested the children and made them want to stay a bit longer to adapt calmly, but this was not allowed. Additionally, the preschool strictly follows the Arlington Public Schools calendar and is closed on days when most private preschools are usually open. This was unexpected and inconvenient for us. Unfortunately, this school did not meet our expectations. We did not feel care, understanding, or a genuine commitment to providing a safe and supportive environment for children.
LiliiaJan 24, 2026Our daughter attended preschool here for over 3 years. Inoka, Manju, and their team are responsive, caring, and most of all fun! Our daughter greatly enjoyed her time here and as parents we greatly appreciated the mixture of play and learning. Our daughter does have an allergy and C Care handled her allergy plan without issue, to include a prompt response when our daughter had an allergic reaction while in their care. I highly recommend Inoka and her team if you are looking for care in the Arlington area.
Jennifer WalkerDec 29, 2024My wife and I enrolled our first child here when he was just over 3 months old. Like all new parents, we were a bit uncomfortable entrusting our son to daycare. (I think the adjustment was as taxing on us as it was our child in a way.) However, Ms. Inoka and made my son’s transition successful. They went above and beyond to calm him down when he was crying, got him to consistently feed from the bottle and gave him the attention he needed to feel comfortable. When we drop our son off he always smiles at Ms. Inoka and Mr. Manjula and starts kicking his feet. When we pick him up he is clean and happily content. Their care doesn’t end there though. They helped us as first time parents by communicating reassurance, addressing our care concerns, offering suggestions and sharing our values. They also keep us informed when our son needs more of the basics, like diapers, cream, wipes and also about things like changing the nipple size on the bottles. Truly they care for both child and parent. We are very grateful, really blessed, that our child can grow up in their care and we look forward to the years to come—we wouldn’t want our son anywhere else.
Matthew GroganNov 8, 2024Our daughter spent nearly 2 years at C Care, and really thrived under the direction of Ms. Inoka until we move out of the area when she was 4.5. She loved her classmates and we were always very happy with the care and attention shown to the students from the teachers and staff. Our daughter has one year of preschool remaining, but she is well on her way to being ready for kindergarten thanks to all the efforts of the C Care staff to cultivate her love of learning and help her practice her reading, writing, and math skills. They also provided a very creative curriculum, from cooking experiments to science and art, and plenty of outdoor play time. We are lucky that she made such a wonderful group of friends in her time in the 3s and 4s class and we are grateful to everything that Ms. Inoka and C Care did for her.
Melanie Ciolek-PannoJun 9, 2024After we weren’t pleased with our overall experience in another area preschool, we found C Care and are so happy we did! The owners work tirelessly and pour their heart and soul into making school fun and enriching for all of the children. When you have a young child away from home everyday, it’s so important to feel that the adults that connect with and pour into them truly know them and love them. Though it wasn’t our first priority, a major perk was how very ready our son was when he moved on to kindergarten. He couldn’t even hold a crayon when he started. When he left he was writing, knew his letters and numbers, and was starting to sound out some words! We couldn’t recommend C Care highly enough!
Laura MillsSep 19, 2023C Care was amazing! I had all ages of kids there and have no complaints only love for this place and this family! We only left because we moved. My oldest did after school care there when in first grade and loved it. She also was able to do violin lessons there. Another daughter was there from 3.5-5 years a and was more than ready for kindergarten despite being the youngest in her class. Then my babies were there (1-3.5 years and 5-15 months). All of my children loved Ms Inoka. I loved the variety of lunches provided, curriculum, and out door space. If you are looking for somewhere where your kid will be happy, healthy, and have fun while also learning this is the place for you! Also great communication and really cares about families.
