  I only have one child, and this is the only place he has gone for childcare outside of the family so I am by no means an expert on the area's offerings. That said, my husband and I are VERY pleased with our experience here so far. Having worked in child care, I know how frustrating the work can be, and that tension between care-givers and management is common. While Children Come First is no exception to this, I can tell you that in my experience these matters have never impacted the quality of my child's care or my experience as a parent. Management is insistent that regulatory policies are enforced for the health and well-being of all children (and staff) at the center, and make a point of communicating well with parents. Then there is the staff - my son has only been in one classroom so far, but the women he works with are just wonderful! They are so loving and patient. And they really know him! He trusts them and is happy to see them. Two things that I really like about this place are 1) The center is small and intimate; while my child is only in one room, I have met all of the teachers, and they all know who we are. 2) Whenever I am in CCF, the children I see coming and going are almost always happy. Children do cry and get upset, and accidents happen, but the overall feeling in all of the areas of this center is that of happiness and well-being. The center is clean, the children engaged and happy, and the staff is patient. I could go on, but I'm sure you don't want to read a novella. I would (and have!) recommend this center to any parent, but especially those like me who have no choice but to work outside of the home and are a little anxious about the care their child will receive. You won't be disappointed. OH, PS We have a second child on the way and will be sending him/her there as well. So you know we like it.
