  We are very disappointed with KinderCare in Fairfax. We first toured the center in December 2025 after being told there was an available spot for our 5-year-old. By the time we completed the application process, we were informed that the spot was no longer available. We understood that these things can happen. However, the director then told us that there would be spots available in March. So we opted to wait rather than find somewhere else. When we followed up in March, we were told the openings would actually be in May. When we checked in May, we were told that it was actually June 12 when several spots would become available, although space might be tight because siblings of current students would also be joining for the summer. Now, as June 12 approaches, we contacted the center only to be told that they are overbooked and no spots are available. What has been most frustrating is not the lack of availability, but the repeated misleading assurances that openings were just a few months away. Based on what we were told, we chose to wait rather than pursue other childcare options, only to be given new dates and additional assurances that never materialized. As a result, we spent six months waiting and now still not having childcare for our child. The director has suggested other centers, but those locations are farther from our home. Overall, our experience with this center has been marked by poor communication and repeated inaccurate representations about availability. We left feeling misled, frustrated, and very disappointed.

  We are so grateful to have found Fairfax Kindercare. Ms. Hina and Ms. Saafia have created such a warm and welcoming environment for our two kids. From day one, our daughter formed a special bond with Ms. Jenny, (now her preschool teacher), who has helped her grow into the confident, smart and social girl she is today. Our son recently started in the Infant B classroom where he has been met with nothing but love, support and encouragement. Both of our kids are thriving and we are so appreciative to the Kindercare staff for all that they do.

  Ms. Seble has now taken care of two of my babies. Leaving them in her care has felt like leaving them with trusted family and I knew I never have to be concerned or worry about them. She is simply a gift and a blessing. Ms. Selma has also cared for our children and has the sweetest heart. She gushes over our babies as much as we do and during the days when my daughter had a tough time at drop off, she would always look for Ms. Selma for comfort. I will always be thankful for that because of how tough drop off can be on all of us.

  This has been our first experience with daycare of any sort and we're very happy with the entire team at Fairfax KinderCare. The staff has been very welcoming, friendly and supportive in all aspects. The Director and Assistant Director provide rapid communications and are very helpful with all billing and enrollment questions. The Teachers are very friendly and attentive to my infant son who always has a smile on his face. We love the app which provides real-time feedback for naps, diapers and feeding, as well as pictures, throughout the day.
