  We feel so lucky to have found Golden Pond! Starting school for the first time was a big step for our family, but the teachers and staff made it feel so easy and comfortable right away. Our son loves going every day and always comes home happy. We've seen his confidence grow so much, and we really appreciate all the care and attention the teachers give. We also appreciate the regular updates and communication, which help us stay informed and connected.   Golden Pond School is well known in the Ashburn community. The school is known to develop preschool age children through a welcoming and most importantly, a uniquely strong academic environment. Daily immersion within a quality environment, during the preschool developmental age, strongly define student academic habits, discipline and social skills. This is what the parents of Golden Pond seek when they enroll their children. Your children are surrounded by and are often friends with, other students whom are delightful and intelligent. The quality of the teachers, whom seek to first teach your child instead of simply watching them, is unique and a defining characteristic of Golden Pond. Working towards reading and writing is frequently spoken to by the teachers, but is appropriately balanced with fun and enjoyment. This nourishing environment, is largely transparent to the student and yet I feel the effects of this experience on my children, are immense. In Loudoun County schools, the alumni of Golden Pond are known to excel academically, socially and often stand out from their classmates. This is possibly because years before the first day of Kindergarten, the students exist and learn to flourish within a well structured classroom environment. This is not just my opinion of Golden Pond, but is the established reputation of the school in greater Ashburn and that reputation, is well deserved.

  Golden Pond is truly the best preschool. The teachers go above and beyond for their students and the curriculum is so engaging for the kids.   Wow!! I wish I could give Golden Pond 10 stars. We have been there for almost a year and are amazed by how our kids have grown under the curriculum. The kindergarten program is seriously AMAZING — challenging and yet accessible. I’m seriously amazed by how much progress my son has made over the last year. And he loves the program and his teachers. My daughter has also thrived in the preschool program and we are excited about Junior Kindergarten next year for her. We are so grateful for this school. I’ve never seen my son and daughter more excited to learn. That’s the real gift.
