  My daughter has attended Karter Schools of Cascades since January 2025, when she enrolled in Preschool during the school year. Transitioning from her previous school was a breath of fresh air, as they lacked the knowledge and experience to effectively support students on the spectrum and collaborate with an ABA therapy team. From the very beginning, Karter has been welcoming, inclusive, and open to all collaborative ideas to help my daughter thrive. Finding a school with experience supporting children on the spectrum, along with a willingness to learn and collaborate with outside ABA providers, was incredibly important and Karter has exceeded those hopes. Ms. Teresa, the Director, is truly outstanding. I could not ask for a better leader. She has a warm, inviting personality and is always available to speak with parents about concerns or questions. Whenever an issue arises, she works thoughtfully to find solutions that support everyone involved. The amazing staff at Karter Schools of Cascades is clearly a reflection of her leadership Ms. Aileen, Director of Operations, does an outstanding job ensuring the facility runs smoothly. She works diligently behind the scenes to make sure everything is handled efficiently and according to plan. Her dedication and attention to detail play a vital role in our daily success. Ms. Sabrina made a lasting impression during our initial tour the best school tour I have experienced. She is consistently helpful, attentive to concerns, and always greets families with kindness when we enter the building. I can always rely on Ms Sabrina to assist me with matters related to my daughter. Ms. Alisha handles the visitor access paperwork required for my daughter’s therapists to come into the school. I can always rely on her to process everything in a timely manner and clearly communicate what is needed. Her efficiency makes the transition and coordination with therapists seamless, which is incredibly important for our child’s continuity of care. Ms. Lesley and Ms. Janet, my daughter’s preschool teachers, were absolutely amazing. They were incredibly patient and caring toward each student, creating a warm and supportive learning environment. Both were instrumental in helping with her transition from her previous school to Karter. They consistently collaborated with her therapists to ensure she was fully supported while acclimating to her new environment. We had a wonderful summer Camp experience in preschool and truly could not have asked for better teachers. Ms. Derenda (Art Teacher) was extremely helpful during the 2025 Summer Camp program. Her willingness to support my daughter and her RBT meant so much to us. My daughter loves painting because it provides calming sensory input, and Ms. Derenda generously shared her classroom and supplies during her personal time, an incredibly thoughtful gesture that showed genuine care for her students. Ms. Christina and Ms. Lina are excellent teachers. Experienced, knowledgeable, and creative thinkers, exactly what any parent hopes for in their child’s educators. This school year has truly been a pleasure with them as teachers. They are always open to meeting to discuss thoughts, questions, or concerns. Their patience and dedication to meeting each student at their individual level, while helping them make meaningful progress, is commendable. I met them during our initial tour and felt confident even then that my daughter would have a wonderful kindergarten experience. The Enrichment Teachers are also wonderful teachers. Their patience and care for each student reflect the nurturing culture of the school. Everyone at this school genuinely cares about the children, and it truly feels like a family-oriented, loving environment. We are thankful to be part of Karter Schools of Cascades.

  I cannot rave enough about my experience with Karter School of Cascades. When you walk in you’re greeted with the warmest good morning from Sarina Smith, her customer service is phenomenal!!! During the week of my training Teresa the director of onboarding, training, and curriculum taught me everything I would need to know. You can truly see she puts time and effort into what is being shown to children and teachers. I was astonished with the infant/toddler room. The children are very bright at such a young age. Tasha Johnson was my hands on trainer through out the week. She was honest, kind, SO fun and helped me retain everything I will need to transition smoothly at Karter in Gainesville. She goes above and beyond for her children in Paris B! I transition into the toddler room under Jackie Lazo, and again was astonished watching all the information the children relayed back to her as well as the energy she brought to the table. I would gladly return and strongly recommend Karter.

  5 Stars for Karter Schools of Cascades and our daughter loves being here. Aside from making fast friends in her classroom she absolutely adores her teachers Ms Elizabeth and Ms Ash. Not a day goes by where she won’t say what either one of them has said or done that was funny and/or we should be doing at home. Aside from her trusted teachers that are wonderful and caring we love Karter’s overall approach. Communication is fantastic on all levels from classroom to leadership and so is transparency which is a big one for us! Cleanliness and maintenance is very much on point also! I really appreciate that my daughter’s classroom floors were re-done during the Christmas break and that’s something usually gets overlooked by other daycares. It shows they take pride in their appearance and who or what they represent. Just walking into the building is a whole different experience. It smells great and has a very warm and welcoming feeling! Use all your senses when choosing a daycare!! Having a solid curriculum and trustworthy staff should be a given when choosing a daycare but we are looking for the little things that set a daycare apart from others. Paying attention to details and going slightly above and beyond is what Karter does incredibly well. That’s why we’re here and would highly recommend to others.

  We’ve had a wonderful experience at Karter School of Cascades. The teachers and staff are incredibly caring, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s growth. The environment is clean, safe, and welcoming, and the curriculum is engaging while still fun and age-appropriate. Communication with parents is excellent, and it’s clear how much thought and care goes into daily activities and routines.   Our family has been with Karter Schools since the very beginning, and it has been one of the best decisions we’ve made. My daughter started as an infant and is now in the after-care program. From day one, Karter felt different—more than a daycare, it felt like a school with high standards, strong leadership, and a caring community. One of the things we value most is the consistency. The leadership team and many of the teachers have been here for years, which says so much about the culture and the care they provide. The teachers truly care about the kids and you can tell. Academically, we’ve been so impressed. My daughter is confident, prepared, and is excelling in school — her kindergarten teacher, Ms. Lina made a huge difference and that year was pivotal for our daughter. We are so grateful for the foundation Karter has given our child and highly recommend it to any family looking for a safe, clean, high-quality school.
