  • My grandson attends King’s Academy and I would recommend this place to anyone. He has learned so much since he started going to King’s Academy. The teachers are very kind, sweet, and patient with the children you can tell they love what they do and love the children. Anyone who is looking for a daycare this one is highly recommended!

  • My son has been at KA for 5 months. He LOVES it. He comes home happy, excited to talk about school and knows each of the teachers by name! We have had a wonderful experience.

  • Wish I would’ve read the reviews first. My girl only went a few days. There was one teacher we liked which is why I’ll give two stars. After reading the past reviews and the behaviors pointed out in their kids it does make me wonder what mine was going through but I won’t make assumptions. I never wanna see my TWO yr old depressed again. Not eating, not playing, only wanted us to hold her close. I’ll never question my mama instincts again.

  • I them out around 2017 and James only went for 3 days and I had a terrible experience. My son cried the entire time he was there. I’m not sure what they did to him but he was not happy at all. I would never recommend this daycare or anyone to it. It’s so scary. Daycares are supposed to be somewhere you can trust to put your kids.

  • PARENTS BEWARE OF KING’S ACADEMY/ FREEDOM BAPTIST CHURCH King's Academy Over the last four years, I have sent both of my children to King’s Academy. In October of 2023, my two-year-old daughter Georgia was assaulted at the daycare by a an employee. The employee was fired by the daycare and was charged with simple assault. The director at the time was very transparent with me about the situation, and made me feel comfortable to continue sending Georgia to King’s Academy. The same Director that helped me work through the abuse incident called me in early December to inform me that church deacons told her to disenroll Georgia from the daycare. She was told to disenroll Georgia because I was a liability to the church for expressing my concerns about the incident that occurred. To my knowledge she expressed to the Board of Directors that it would not be a good “look” for King’s Academy to disenroll a child, directly after what had happened. Soon after, she was soon fired from King’s Academy. A new director started on December 14 and beginning January 2nd – 5th, I started receiving heavy documentation that my child was being aggressive with other children. This behavior had never been previously documented or told to me. I asked the director to meet with me and never received a response. I went to the daycare yesterday and spoke with the director and she said that she thought Georgia was having a hard time adjusting to their recent employee turnover, the holidays, and the inconsistencies of the daycare. She said she would work with me and see how the rest of the week went. Today, I received a phone call that Georgia “hit” her teacher and was immediately disenrolled. King’s Academy refused to show me the camera footage of the incident, because they needed to protect the privacy of the other children, however when I spoke with the assistant director and asked how and where the incident occurred, she explained that Georgia ran out of the classroom to the hall and she went after her and picked her up and that is when Georgia allegedly smacked her. While this was taken place, a room of children were left unsupervised and when that was brought to her attention, she walked away. I asked for a copy of her file, so that I may provide it to her next daycare and they refused to give me a copy. I also asked for a copy of the report of when Georgia was assaulted and they said that the situation was handled wrong and there wasn’t documentation of that. I also asked if there was an incident report of today’s events and was told that they hadn’t written that yet, but would have it done sometime today.

  • My daughter was recently expelled from this daycare because of a disagreement with the administration and my daughters mother. The administration lied about how my daughters education was going to be handled and demanded she repeat a year because she couldn’t start kindergarten yet, even though we were told otherwise and they even let her graduate! Why even go through all that? Apparently there has also been an extremely serious lawsuit against this place in the past that I’ll let whoever is interested find on their own. But the best part is finding out from multiple people that their children or friends/family of theirs children got expelled as well due to disagreements with the administration. One person in particular. I’ve got screenshots of conversations, the law suit, and people’s testimony’s if anyone is interested. Do NOT let your child attend this place. The administration and church should be ashamed of themselves and they are the very type of people that give Christians a bad wrap. The way this situation and my daughter was handled is laughable, pathetic, and a blatant abuse of power.
