We've had a great time with our children attending here.
Nick GeorgasJun 3, 2026We recently enrolled our three-year-old at Lighthouse Christian Preschool, and unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing. On his first day, our son, who had never attended daycare or any other formal setting, experienced typical separation anxiety. However, when we picked him up, the staff focused on potential behavioral issues after just one day, even though adjusting to preschool takes time, especially for children new to this environment. What concerned us most was the staff’s quick judgment, implying there might be something wrong with our child when this is a normal part of the transition. After speaking with others, it became clear that this behavior is common for children starting preschool, and that teachers should be more understanding and empathetic toward these emotional challenges. We also felt a lack of enthusiasm and passion from the staff, which made the experience even more discouraging. We had hoped for a nurturing, supportive environment, but instead, we felt blamed for our child’s natural reactions to a significant change. After discussing the situation with others who've had similar experiences, this lack of understanding may be a pattern at the school. As a Christian institution, we expected more care and support. Unfortunately, our experience has left us questioning whether this is the right place for our son. We hope the staff reflects on how they approach new students and families and provides more encouragement and empathy moving forward. We will not be returning to Lighthouse Christian Preschool and hope that future families do not feel the same way we did.
Stephy ChandyNov 15, 2024My son has been going here for at least 9+ months and absolutely loves it, he is always happy when we pick him up, and the teachers are always caring and loving to him.
Rosa LillichJun 20, 2024I was very excited to enroll my son here. The space for the children is one of the largest that I've seen among the daycares that I have toured. It is bright and friendly inside and feel like a place you would want to spend your day. Also, the caregivers here treat the children like they're own. Our son has been with Miss Vic for the past 8 months and she gives him a lot of attention, affection and has taught him a lot. Often he will come home and have a new skill that she showed him. Miss Vic also communicates regularly with us and sends us updates on our son throughout the day. Highly recommend this center for its caring staff and pleasant space!

Kristie HoltOct 16, 2015What a find! The staff is knowledgable and caring, the facilities are excellent, and the location is fantastic! I feel very lucky to be able to place my son in their care while I am at work. My son is all smiles when he sees his teacher in the morning!
