  We started bringing our daughter to Lincolnia Academy when my maternity leave ended and she was four months old. Ms. Betty and Ms. Naiza are attentive, warm, and incredibly comforting, which helped ease my nerves during such a big transition. It didn’t take long for us to see our daughter thrive. She clearly enjoys being around her little friends and seeing her teachers each morning. Her excitement has put us at ease—she even reaches for Ms. Betty at drop-off, which says a lot. We attend part-time, and the flexibility Lincolnia offers has been a huge bonus for our family. One morning when I arrived a little later than usual, I had the chance to see some of the learning activities in action. The babies were so engaged with Ms. Betty—it was honestly adorable. I wish I’d had my phone to capture the moment. Things we love: • Attentive, caring teachers • Very clean environment • Great student–teacher ratios • Predictable routines for the children • Helpful newsletters and communication • Knowledgeable and warm staff • Daily notes on sleep and feeding • A wonderful community of parents who are easy to connect with • Family programs and activities for parents to attend • Cute keepsake crafts during the holidays • Secure entrances and a no-shoes policy in the infant classroom Rocio, the assistant director at the front desk, has also been incredibly helpful from the beginning. She’s organized, responsive, and always on top of the paperwork, which we really appreciate. A couple small suggestions (not deal breakers): The entrance area can feel a bit congested at times, and additional storage space would be helpful. It would also be nice to receive occasional updates or photos during the day about what’s happening in the classroom. Overall, we’re so grateful we found Spanish immersion care so close to home. I would absolutely recommend Lincolnia Academy to other families looking for daycare. Thank you, Ms. Betty and Ms. Naiza, for everything you do!

  We absolutely love Lincolnia Academy. Safety and education is clearly a top priority, which gives us so much peace of mind. The teachers and administrators communicate really well and always keep us in the loop. Our child is happy, cared for, and safe—we couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend!

  As a military family, we were a little nervous about how our twin four-year-old daughters would adjust to a new environment after moving from Alabama to Virginia. From the very first day at Lincolnia Academy, our worries were put to rest. The staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared for our girls. They created such a loving and supportive atmosphere that our daughters looked forward to school each morning and came home excited to tell us all about their day. We especially appreciated the bilingual instruction, which gave them exposure to a second language in a natural and fun way. The variety of learning approaches kept them engaged and opened their eyes to so many new experiences. Both of our girls made wonderful friends and bonded closely with their teachers, whom they already miss dearly. Lincolnia Academy didn’t just provide a safe and nurturing learning environment. It gave our whole family peace of mind during a major transition. We’re truly grateful for the dedication and passion of the staff, and we highly recommend the school to any family looking for a place where their children will be both loved and challenged to grow.

  Absolutely exceptional. We have been extremely happy with the level of care, love, and dedication we have received and experienced at Lincolnia AEL from all the teachers, leadership, and support staff. From the minute you walk in, you are welcomed by staff in a colorful and child-centered school-from design, approach, curriculum, facilities, playgrounds, and events. The staff go above and beyond in planning and hosting themed events for parents and family to share in our child's learning and growth. We receive detailed daily reports of our son's lessons, learning objectives, behavior, and strengths. He has made tremendous progress in his language skills and is speaking in both Spanish and English at 2 years old. We will start our youngest son at the school next year and we could not be more confident that this was the best decision with regards to our children's care, growth, and learning. It's very obvious how much the teachers care about the children. They have genuine smiles on their faces when the children arrive and you can hear all the children and teachers greeting your child- what a wonderful way to start the day. The teachers ensure they are providing every child with the attention they need and it's clear they take their role extremely seriously. Child to teacher ratio is very low and this was something high on our list of requirements for a daycare/preschool. When I arrive to pick up my son in the afternoon, I typically find him dancing and laughing outside in the sunshine with his teachers and friends. We couldn't be happier with Lincolnia AEL!

  This school is a gem. We had our two daughters here during our time in Northern Virginia. It was a time of transition for our 2 year old, and our baby started daycare at Lincolnia Academy at 4 months old. The warmth, love, and care that the teachers and staff at Lincolnia provide is unmatched. Our toddler absorbed so much Spanish in a very short time period. The school often had fun events, and the outdoor space is truly beautiful. The small class sizes meant that every teacher knew both our girls very well, and always greeted them with a big smile. As a parent, I cannot recommend this school enough!
