  • Our kid started at sparkles with 18 months, and the teachers at toddler’s class were exceptionally supporting after we had a very bad experience of starting at another daycare around the corner. Ms Ricaya, Ms Lina, Ms Soukaina, and especially Ms Lupe all took great care of our child. Ms Lupe is by far the best person that has taken care of our kid ever! She has 20 years of experience, and it really shows with her techniques and tools for calming and supporting a kid, as well as with developmental support. Then we transitioned to the class of 2-3 year olds, where our kid has a great time as well! They have a lot of fun activities in class, as well as soccer on site, and summer camp activities, like weekly magician and puppet shows. Ms Caty is very creative about weekly plans, and structures for all the kids to feel welcomed and integrated with each other. We also greatly appreciate the care and support for our child from Ms Dee, Ms Maira, and Ms Nour.

  • I had my daughter at the Sparkles Crystal City location for a year and she thrived as a result. Because we are soon moving, I had to unfortunately take her out. Let's start with the infant 1&2 class. Loved having her with them. Even when we had minor issues, they were quick to correct them. My daughter loved the care she received from Ms. Brittney and Ms. Ronesha in infant 1. They did an exceptional job keeping me informed, taking care of my baby girl and ensuring she felt safe and loved. Ms. Ronesha is so good with the littles. You can tell she truly cares. When my baby went to infant 2, I was worried. That worry quickly dissipated with the calm and attentive demeanor of Ms. Nina. Ms. Nina is great with the transition from little baby to big baby. My daughter quickly gravitated to her and I definitely appreciated that she showed so much care and affection. Transitioning to the toddler class was hard, but we made it work. The rules for the toddler class are a bit more stringent and my daughter was not yet ready to adapt to some of the rules. I truly appreciate Ms. Melissa Tate for allowing my baby grace and time to transition away from the bottle in her own time. Ms. Melissa is a great director, super sweet, attentive, helpful and always welcoming. Because of her and Ms. Fergie (second in command), my life was made so much easier and I worried less. Ms. Fergie is also a great resource and very helpful and accommodating. She really blessed us when went on travel last year with how she set up our pay schedule/etc. She made our lives so much easier! For the toddler class, I'd like to give a shout out to Ms. Soukaina and Ms. Ricaya who were so good with the littles. Both super sweet and you can tell they genuinely care. Ms. Ricaya was especially helpful to my husband and I each evening making sure we had a warmed bottle to take home with us and always packing up for us. She went above and beyond. Ms. Soukaina made my girl feel loved and special. She was always there to provide the smiles, and cuddles. Thank you to the entire Sparkles team. You all will be missed and I am so grateful for the love and attention, education and genuine care you have provided to our baby girl. From the Germain Family, THANK YOU!!!!!!!

  • Sparkles is an amazing daycare. Lovely staffs, clean and safe environment for kids. Ms Yeisy is a wonderful teacher, she’s very caring and kind. Ms Jordan , Ms Nelly and Ms Lisette who also help in Prek 2 classroom, they are all amazing teachers.

  • Both my girls attended Sparkles at 4 months old, with the oldest starting in 2016. The youngest just ended her time at Sparkles in August 2025 to start Kindergarten. We continued with Sparkles even through COVID without a break in service and care for our children. We had the pleasure of going back to visit recently and it felt like home. The teachers/staff are amazing and took such great care of my girls, especially the youngest with a severe food allergy. Special thank you to Ms. Lupe, Ana, Erika, Meka, Fergie, and Gille for always helping out and being attentive to our needs. When we found out my youngest had allergies, we were extremely nervous. But you all eased our concerns from the start.

  • My daughter has been attending Sparkles since she was five months old. She is now 11 months old and recently transitioned to the "Infant 2" classroom. From her very first day at Sparkles, she has been treated with the utmost care, patience, and affection. The staff and teachers are angels - they care for each child as if they were their own. The teachers are always doing fun and developmentally appropriate activities with the children. They are super organized and responsive - parents receive frequent updates via an app, including lots of photos of the kids having fun. Thankfully, Sparkles provides camera access to their classrooms and playgrounds so I can check in on my daughter in real time. This has been a huge reassurance to me as a working mom and helps me feel like I'm not missing out on her development. Even at her young age, my daughter looks forward to school every day and is always happy at drop off. We are so thankful we enrolled in Sparkles! A recent 1-star review is complaining about the Center's pickup/drop-off policy, which is absolutely reasonable and clearly communicated at time of enrollment. Now that I'm familiar with my daughter's routine at school, I would not want her classmates being picked up and dropped off randomly throughout the day. The kids thrive on their routines and it would be disruptive to have adults barge in whenever it pleases them. Any parent who doesn't recognize structured pickup/drop-off as a reasonable (actually, a beneficial) policy is selfish and somewhat sociopathic. On top of that, it's pretty vile to make false claims of racism just because of their personal feelings about a policy. Sparkles provides such a diverse, inclusive space for our little one to learn about other cultures - all of the teachers are women of color and I would say almost half of the students and parents (including our family) are POC. I wanted to share my honest feelings of Sparkles to counter the unwarranted negative review posted by an immature parent.

  • My daughter just finished and 2 years at Sparkles, where she started at almost 2 years old and couldn't be happier about the care, attention, stimulation and approach to development from every staff member at Sparkles of Crystal City. A big shout out to Erika, Yeisy, Ana, Mayra and Lupe for all the love and care for my Mia....this is a debt that I will never be able to repay. I can emphasize enough how much I appreciate everything this ladies gave to my daughter. She is the happiest and smartest (an obvious unbias opinion) thanks to them!!!
