I can't say anything good about this school. We requested an I-20 for international students; first, the document review process takes a very long time; second, they take a very long time to respond to messages; and third, if they’ve decided not to issue an I-20, just say so right away—no one will be offended. We’re on a tight schedule, and it’s very difficult to get an appointment at the embassy for the dates we need. We started the process in early April and were denied in late May. What has the school administration been doing all this time?
Ruslan AlshimbayevJun 15, 2026VAA is truly the best decision we made for our kids. They love school, love learning and above all, love God. The teachers and staff are beyond amazing, and the whole community is just so welcoming.
Monica MansourMay 14, 2026No admin support for teachers and basically takes in any student, both misbehaving and good students. Basically has become a public school with tuition payments.
IheartdolphinsApr 13, 2026Our experience at Virginia Academy has been nothing short of exceptional. As parents, entrusting your children to a school is a big deal—and Virginia Academy has exceeded our expectations at every level. The teachers genuinely know and love our kids, creating an environment where they feel safe, seen, and challenged to grow academically, socially, and spiritually. What stands out most is the intentional culture. Excellence is clearly a priority, but it’s paired with compassion, structure, and strong communication. We consistently feel informed, supported, and confident that our children are being poured into by people who care deeply about their development. Virginia Academy isn’t just a school—it’s a community. We are incredibly grateful for the role it plays in shaping our kids and would wholeheartedly recommend it to any family looking for a Christ-centered, high-quality educational experience.
Preston TurpinJan 31, 2026We believe the early years in a child’s education are so important in their overall development and we found that at Virginia Academy ( VAA) Our experience with the Virginia Academy has been amazing. Our two children, son is a 1st grader and daughter in K4, have been enrolled since K2 each. We couldn't be more pleased with the education our children have received and the overall academic and Christian environment, strong focus on character development and social development our children have experienced. The teachers and administration staff are spectacular. We also really appreciate the open communication between teachers and parents. We absolutely recommend this school to any parent looking for high quality Christian educational environment for their children.
Cynthia KnightFeb 9, 2018Moving my daughter from a public school to VA Academy was the best decision I have ever made. All the staff truly care about the kids. It’s a family oriented school and my daughter loves it! Would recommend this school to anyone. We love Virginia Academy❤️
