  • My son has been attending LSCCC since the day they opened! I have not had a bad experience since! Both the toddler and infant teachers are very loving and nurturing to all the children! The director is very nice and they are all super easy to talk to and communicate with! My son loves all his friends and loves all his teachers! They have a great structured curriculum for all the ages in the center. These teachers truly love what they do at LSCCC!

  • We are one of the OG Lil' Sunshine's families in Randolph. When we heard about the center opening 2 minutes from our house, we immediately joined the wait-list. As a working parent, I know how hard it is to leave my children at daycare, especially with folks I don't know well yet. We have been nothing but impressed by the love and care extended to us at Lil Sunshine's. During my oldest son's time at LSCC, he was always outside or doing some kind of fun craft, activity, or enrichment event. When I had to go back to work after the birth of my second son, I was very sad and nervous about him transitioning to the bottle and being without me all day. Not only did the teachers and staff comfort me and alleviate my fears, they also sent tons of updates about my son's day, giving me so much peace of mind. Although it seems small, they also were so organized with what I would bring in--extra clothes, diapers, breast milk, bottles, etc. The fact that they were able to keep track of it all while doing the important work of caring for so many infants is not an easy feat! Teachers and staff at LSCC are supportive, incredibly communicative, and they work tirelessly doing one of the most necessary but also unappreciated jobs. They go above and beyond to ensure the day is filled with fun, engagement, and meaning. The thing that stands out in my mind the most about LSCC is the love and care displayed for children. One of the perks of small town life is that we all really get to know each other on a deeper, more personal level. When I pick up my son every day, I can see he is happy and comfortable with the teachers and staff and they just adore him so much! I could go on, but as a LSCC parent of 18 months, I am incredibly grateful for this much-needed center where I bring my son daily. I don't have to worry about his well-being or wonder if he's being loved and snuggled in my absence. His eagerness to go to school and how he reaches for his teachers (with barely a goodbye to me) says it all!

  • Our son has been so happy at pickup and drop off each day. I have to give the credit to the entire staff, but more importantly, the ladies in the infant room; Megan, Tasha and Sam specifically! They are tremendous and so, so kind. We’re lucky our son gets to spend time with them.

  • I highly recommend Lil Sunshine Child Care Center for families in the area or commuting through! This is our fourth center for our two kids (rural Vermont sees lots of center closures) & I can confidently say LSCCC is the best! There are a few things that really set this center apart: -Warm, caring staff: over the years we’ve been here, there have been many stand out staff, but most recently I’ve been impressed by Megan, Tasha, and Jess. You can tell the staff truly care. I have gotten enthusiastic updates from them about my daughter’s development which means a lot. And they also plan great activities for the kids. This is maybe a small thing too but I really appreciate all the photos. It helps me feel connected to my daughter while I’m working all day. -Support for Working Parents: Their excellent hours have been a lifesaver. With the state-mandated Return to Office, my work day has shifted and LSCCC has the best hours (7:30-4:30). At times when they’ve been short staffed (a common thing here in rural Vermont), they are quick to resume full hours once they regain staff, prioritizing working parents’ needs. -The Small, calm center: Because it’s a smaller center, the environment is calm and personal. The staff truly knows every child by name. I’ve also been impressed with how they decorate and stock the space for kids’ learning, and how creative they are with organization. When I arrive in the mornings, the space is always so clean. It feels like walking into an inviting home rather than a child care center. -Automated, clear billing: LSCCC makes understanding and paying my bill a super easy. The CCFAP in Vermont can get confusing, but they’ve always handled it expertly. Also the automated billing, though a small thing, is actually not offered at all centers and really helps reduce my mental load as a working mom. Most importantly, my child absolutely loves going here. Seeing her run into the classroom with a smile every morning is the best. If you’re looking for a nurturing center that prioritizes & supports working families, please check them out!

  • My family has been with LSCCC for over a year. I have had incredibly positive experiences both in the toddler room and the infant room. The staff have been communicative and are wonderful with the children. My toddler was fully potty trained by 2.5 with little effort on our end. I believe the transition from diapers was easy mostly due to the teachers' patience and consistency with bathroom reminders. The center has also been making continuous upgrades since opening, including installing a new play yard and engaging in community programming, like storytime at the library. The executive director and program director are clearly dedicated to ensuring a high quality of care for the children and a supportive environment for the staff. I'm thrilled to have LSCCC care for my children, and can't wait to see how it continues to grow.

  • We had a positive experience with Lil' Sunshine Child Care Center for our toddler. Communication was clear, and the app the staff uses allowed us to quickly communicate with the center. It also allowed us to get updates about our child thorough the day. The staff we encountered were caring and welcoming. Our child enjoyed his time at "school" and playing with his friends. We also appreciated the flexibility with scheduling, which made a big difference for our family. We needed a temporary spot, and Lil' Sunshine worked with us to coordinate this care. The new director has been making positive changes to improve the site and new safety protocol is clearly in place. Overall, we are pleased with our experience here.
