  • We feel really lucky to be part of this community. From the beginning, the staff welcomed us with open arms -- their warmth, dedication, and genuine care is evident in every interaction. I've found that the teachers take time to understand our child’s unique needs and meet them with compassion, flexibility, and zero judgment. They’re always ready to share helpful tips and ideas for supporting our child at home, and they never hesitate to spend extra time with us when we’re facing challenges. Communication is always open, honest, and transparent, and we never feel like just another family. We’re deeply grateful for everything they do and couldn’t imagine a better environment for our child to grow and thrive.

  • This years Neck of the Woods summer camp, located at the Moretown elementary school, was exceptional. The staff and counselors were great and they had a fun engaging new theme for the kids every week. After the last day of camp, when I told my son it was done for the summer, he was genuinely bummed. That’s how you KNOW it’s a great summer camp :)

  • My now 11yo daughter has again had the time of her life at the Neck of the Woods summer camp. The staff is amazing and the days are filled with joy and smiles. The safe, caring and fun environment that NOW provides never ceases to amaze me! We are so lucky to have such a quality childcare provider in central Vermont. Thanks Neck of the Woods for all that you do for our kiddos and their parents!

  • My kids love going to the Neck of the Woods summer camp. We really appreciate the staff for taking the kids to so many fun places, and accommodating when there are plan changes due to road conditions or weather. The teachers are all very kind and good at their jobs. Shout out to Liz!

  • NOW has been amazing for my kids for the last three years, providing nurturing, supportive, and outdoor-oriented care. The administrators and teachers care deeply about their mission and about each child. My kids have been in the daycare, preschool, and summer camps, and have loved every minute.

  • We have had both of our our young kids attending Neck of the Woods childcare center and summer camp programs for the last 4 years. Without exception the teachers, caregivers and management there have provided a safe, fun, and enriching environment for our kids. They are moving mountains to provide an increasingly needed service in our community, and employing wonderful humans who have communicated well and show genuine care for my kids. The larger problem is that early childhood education is undervalued and underfunded, and I understand that NOW has jumped through many hoops to keep up with demand as other daycare centers close, as well as get accreditations to enrich curriculum and unlock grant funding to control tuition costs. Daycare is so expensive and a stressful time for parents, but these people provide much more than daycare and are worth way more than we could pay them given the current funding structure.
