Don't take a CPR class here! Too many hands in the pot between NWTC, MVR and MapleRun. I took CPR on 4/2. Prospectively hired for a new position as a dental assistant, I needed to renew some things. CPR being one. At the end of the course I was told it could take a week or two to receive a digital ecard. Wow. I have to wait that long and miss two initial weeks of work. I have only ever had to wait 3 days max to receive my certificate and card. I waited 8 weeks for this piece of digital documentation I needed to reinstate my VT state license to practice dentistry. I missed 8 weeks of potential work (thank God my new bosses were so patient and helpful in this process). Over $1000 of potential wages. One forgot to send the roster. One resigned without notice and locked others out of the card issuing system. Another entity got involved and never came through. I had "strings pulled" to get my card after persistence of keeping on these individuals. May 28: THE OTHER 4 PEOPLE IN THE CLASS WITH ME ARE STILL WAITING FOR THEIR CARDS! I don't know who is at fault between MVR, MapleRun, or Northwest, but nobody has taken accountability for this disorganized, frustrating mess. Not impressed. I would not recommend this as a place to take a CPR class. 0/10 ⭐
Tiana BombardMay 30, 2026I have been to several different cosmetology schools. Where my hair has been cut uneven, dyed a way darker color etc. I have never been upset with a student because it’s understood that they are learning!! Unfortunately this experience tops all of that. I asked for a French tip and the student said they couldn’t do that, no problem. I asked for light pink instead but that’s not what I got. The actual technique was not good and uncomfortable. My two thumb nails were both broken half way and she painted it instead of cutting it and it broke off a few hours later. The supervisor asked how I liked the nails and I said “it’s okay” and showed her my right thumb only half painted. The whole experience was upsetting and made me walk away disappointed greatly.
