  • I live in this building and have concerns for the health of these children. This building is advertised as a no smoking building but it’s filled with smokers. People walking in and out with cigs hanging out of their mouths. Smoking on the sidewalk right next to the play area. Smoking in cars. Smoking behind the garbage facility. Cigarettes on the pavement and sidewalk that the kids walk along to the play area. Our hallway inside smells of cigarette smoke and that air is obviously circulated throughout the building. We’ve complained to redstone and they told us no smoking is difficult to enforce. Further concerns are that another resident told us that there is a sex offender living in this building. Have seen the cops here a few times. Have had a resident who lives here cuss out my 4 and 6 yr old. And now there are people setting up tents right behind the outdoor play area and in the wooded area. UVM Health Network’s choice to locate a child care center here and not onsite absolutely baffles me. Pictures of just a quick walk around the building…

  • My 5 year old has been attending the Burlington ONE Arts school and he has been so happy there. He absolutely loves the trips out into the community to new playgrounds, the community garden, the farmers market and the library. The teachers are absolutely amazing and he has made such wonderful connections with each of them. He said just last week, “I don’t want to go to college, or kindergarten, I just want to stay at this school forever.” Thank you, ONE Arts!
