CAPITAL KIDS CHILDCARE CENTER

My daughter has been attending this daycare for almost a year now, and it’s been a wonderful experience! The staff is consistently communicative through the app and phone calls, which really helps me stay in the loop. As a first-time parent, I was initially hesitant about daycare, but the team quickly put my mind at ease. I also love that I can check in on her through the classroom camera feed whenever I’m curious about how her day is going. Her teacher always has fun, engaging activities planned, and my little one genuinely looks forward to being dropped off each day!

I want to start off by saying this is the most reliable daycare my children have ever attended, and believe me when I say theres been a few! This daycare is very structured. I have three children ages ranging from 4 months all the way up to school age who attend Capital Kids, including the care provided on weekends during service. My children have been attending this daycare for over a year now, and they are always implementing ways to encourage and educate the children, ensuring they meet their milestones and having fun when doing so. I have never had to worry about my childrens safety! I go to work with a clear mind and am able to focus on my job. I wholeheartedly know my children are safe because the staff is diligent and mindful of all the children. If for some reason I ever feel like I need to check in on my kids, I can log into my secured app and communicate with my kids' teachers individually. When navigating throughout the app I was quite impressed with the daily logs of meal times, bathroom breaks and even pictures posted to my account that I can save to my phone and the pictures always brighten my day! If anything happens while kids are in their care, there will always be an incident report, and policy is always followed, but 9/10 times, it was a simple minor scratch from playing outside on the playground. I am naturally a mom who worries about her children when playing outside if I'm not there. I have come to the center at all times and all of the kids are being tended to, watched carefully always instructed to follow the rules of the playground ensuring there safety along with multiple staff all over watching the kiddos and the playground is completely fenced in with a banner around it. I am very happy with the fact that my kids are always hydrated and well nourished and encouraged to eat their veggies, especially for my picky eaters. As I am a very attentive mother, I am comforted by the fact that I have access to a secured app that allows me to visually check in on my kiddos. I am always happy to find that my kids are socializing, reading, making friends, and crafting. My kids are truly happy when they are there, and all staff follow policy and take safety precautions and measures to ensure the safety of all children. My kids are frequently excited to share their adventures with their teachers and friends. I've had nothing but good reports from my children, and every day, they have something new to share with me that they learned. The children there have become wonderful friends to my children, so caring and kind. My daughter is always quick to race back there to show her friends her painted nails or new shirt. When my children have a rough day or are struggling with emotional regulation, they have a safe space for them, sensory objects, and books to read. The staff is patient and kind and certified, so they are very equipped with the knowledge and skills it takes to care for the children. The professionalism that comes from the director/front office and staff is admirable due to not having the greatest experiences in the past with other daycares. I absolutely love that "Capital Kids" is faith-based as well, and I always hear my daughter singing sweet songs that bring her so much joy. I have seen an immense amount of growth in this center from the time my kids started to now and I am excited to see "Capital Kids" continue to grow! I am genuinley blessed that my children get to be apart of it.

Our family Loves Capital Kids Childcare! We are 100% satisfied and better yet our precious great grand-daughter gets up in the mornings and can't wait to go to daycare. What do we love? Being able to fully trust the daycare providers to take proper care of our precious 3 year old great grand-daughter. To see the staff interact with the children in positive ways. To walk into the classroom and have our grand- daughter greeted with joy. To have the assurance that if anything should happen that all the children would have the very best of care and protection - to include prayer. To drop our grand-daughter off and walk out the door knowing her day is going to be full of good things in a healthy environment. We love Capital Kids so much that now Baby Brother is going to attend. Feeling so secure and so happy is so Priceless!

The center has shown remarkable promise, successfully transforming from a struggling state to a thriving, vibrant facility. Through strategic enhancements and a deep commitment to addressing the diverse needs of children, the center is on a continued path to not only stabilize but significantly expand its operations. As a parent, I am excited to be part of the center's growth and see it benefit my children who attend. I have great faith in Ashley as a Director and mentor. She brings continued education to teachers, which betters the lives of her staff and children attending. Her promise is backed by action through the programs she is implementing. I also LOVE the transparency, allowing parents to view their kids through their WatchMeGrow secure camera streaming. I get to see my kiddos thrive in the classroom with their wonderful teachers and friends.

My son has been going here since he was 5 months old & he’s now 9 months. Being a first time mom & having to go back to work it was so hard for me to make this transition, but the staff & the director made me feel at home! My son is in the infant room & I love all his teachers! I’m happy I get to see what he’s doing with their cameras & I can communicate with his teachers through their app. They also send me pictures of him throughout the day which I love! I’ve only noticed positive effects on my little guy since him being here. This place is the amazing! ❤️
