My daughter attended Creative Kids before having to move her to another daycare closer to home. We miss this place so much! The staff is so personable, you get updates throughout the day (really helps you feel like you’re part of your child’s day), photos and a happy kiddo upon pick up! We’ll be going back. I’m willing to drive further for better care. 💜
Ashley BoyceJul 14, 2022Creative Kids is still to this day the best school my daughter has ever gone to. Mechelle is wonderful. Miss Kaitlyn is a wonderful loving teacher. Everyone at Creative Kids is there for the kids. I also work in Early Childhood and there is definitely programs out there that are giving sub-par care, but not this one. Miss Mechelle has designed a wonderful program where every child can start a positive relationship with education. Creative Kids is the best! We miss you!
Kelsey BuryApr 29, 2022My son was in Creative Kids with Mechelle from toddler through elementary school. He was a very rough child, naturally mischievous, and they worked so well with us to mold him into a respectable and loving kid (he’s currently 17). Now, my daughter has a child and we look forward to taking her here as she grows. Hands down, the best daycare in town!!!
Jocelyn RobinetteJul 8, 2021We had one child at CKLC and I worked as a sub there also. After raising quite a few kids myself I’ve seenvarious preschool programs and childcare facilities over the years. This is a unique center with more thought and care put into planning than I’ve ever seen in a infant to school age facility. Individual needs met, freedom to learn and play, structure enough to learn social skills, great staff that’s invested in their little ones, field trips (really good ones), interacting with their community, etc. Holidays are a great treat for the kids there also. The security is wonderful but not invasive or scary to the kids. Having worked there gave me an inside look to their workings behind the scenes so to speak. Happy to say that it’s exactly what you as the parent will see. Authentic care and concern. Actually that’s not completely true, what you won’t see is the countless hours put in behind the scenes, after hours, on weekends and holidays by the directors, owner and staff. You might miss the tears when a kid moves away, or them sitting in the floor tearing up when a kid cries to them that grandpa died last week. These families come in and stay for years, so everyone gets invested. (One of their first kids that went through their program works there now) Our experience was at the Ellensburg location, but we were there when the now director of the Moses Lake center was still there (and after she moved to Moses lake). Jessica is a clone to Mechelle, who is the owner and the director of the Ellensburg center. :) So it’s safe to say that the Moses lake facility is as well done as Ellensburg.
Vicki StricklandSep 17, 2020Loving, nurturing environment with teachers who help children excel. CKLC has been a second home for my daughter!
Elizabeth HenrySep 17, 2020CKLC has been a gift to our family. What a blessing it's been for our daughter to receive the care, attention, and creative outlet provided by this center. The staff and management are attentive to every detail, they deliver on their promises, and seem to truly love the work they do. Our children are our most precious valuable gifts, having such a trusting provider to care for them is something no parent takes for granted. Thanks CKLC!
