ENCHANTED LITTLE FOREST SNOHOMISH

My son has attended ELF in snohomish for a little over 2 years now and today was his last day. I’ve cried multiple times knowing we won’t be able to see all the staff and have that close family like connection with ELF anymore. We’ve been driving 2 hours a day to get him to this daycare because the care and regard they’ve shown my son and our family. We love the center and staff so much & will miss them greatly.

I recently set up a tour with this daycare center to see how it was. When I walked in, a lady with slippers and unprofessional work attire for a daycare center stood up from the front desk to show me the center. When I saw her outfit, I already wanted to walk out, but stayed to show my respect for the staff. The reason was that I definitely could not let my child learn from a person who did not know how to dress appropriately for the working environment. There were several ladies chitchat in a tiny front area at the time I was there but I couldn’t pay the long attention to them. The interior set up of the center is very small. The hallway is way too small for emergency evacuation. Outdoor playground is not infants/young toddlers friendly. The lady mentioned about the gate from playground could be opened, which led to the parking lot and traffics, by older children. This was another minus point for the center. She wouldn’t talk about this issue if it never happened before. Walk into a toddler room, a kid with visible running nose but didn’t get any attention from the staff. Infant room was very poor. Parking spots were right in front of the infant and preK rooms without any barricades to prevent car running into by accident. I felt so bad for the kids in there. I knew sometimes their parents didn’t have any other choice. I never have any kid or know anyone at the center before. Just wanted to advocate the the little kids, who are there, and let prospective parents know they should tour the center to see if it gets improved or not before enrolling your child.

We love the entire staff and teachers here! They are friendly, supportive and caring. Our son had speech delay and the teachers have been amazing in supporting him learn & grow each day. We appreciate all their efforts and dedication to all the kids. In this profession, only people with passion for childcare can make a difference, and I have seen everyone being amazing at what they do here!!

My daughter has been attending ELF for 2 years and I couldn't be happier. The teachers and staff genuinely care for each individual child (and their families too!) and my daughter has been thriving! I feel very comforted in knowing that my daughter is in good hands and while she's there. It's not easy for a parent to drop off their most prized possession in the care of others, but I am confident that she is being taken care of with love and patience. She always has fun and is happy every time I go pick her up. She is learning a lot academically and has fun learning too! I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff there... they are very helpful, kind and show true concern over how they manage, educate and take care of all the children. I highly recommend ELF as they have been a huge blessing to me and my daughter. Nothing but positive things to say!

This childcare has been amazing to my little girl! She has learned so much in such a short period of time and has really opened up to her peers! Staff are kind attentive and patient with both the kids and parents. Food choices are healthy and creative and the outside area is perfect for little explorers! I truly feel confident my baby is in good hands here and am so thankful we found this place!
