Mixed experience but mostly disappointing. Teachers are kind and care for the kids, but management is extremely difficult, defensive, and lacks accountability. They are reactive vs being proactive. Communication regarding growth and progress was mostly lacking. We also had concerns around how allergy situations were handled. Our child was sent home over a paperwork delay, but during allergic reactions, instructions from our doctor were not followed after the reaction even though all medications were provided. We had to visit the ER twice (including one ambulance visit). There was also confusion about exposure to other food, which was later acknowledged. It did not feel like the right environment for a child who needs more flexibility or support with milestones. Since switching daycares, we’ve seen a very positive change in 3 days. I would strongly encourage parents to carefully consider their options. Location wise - convenient for West Seattle folks. They made a board to send him off with sweet messages which was nice.

Though my daughter’s time at Evergreen was only about 3.5 months, I am beyond thankful to Cassie and her amazing team. From day one, everyone was so kind, patient, supportive, and understanding, which made a huge difference as my daughter was going through a big transition. She was adjusting to a lot of changes in her life, and the teachers went above and beyond to help her feel comfortable and cared for. I also really appreciated how they kept me updated throughout the day—it gave me so much peace of mind. And of course, when it came time for pick-up, my daughter often wasn’t ready to leave because she was having too much fun with her new friends! Evergreen created such a warm, welcoming environment for her, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Evergreen Learning Center! Since we started we have felt the warmth and dedication of the entire team. The teachers and staff go above and beyond, creating a nurturing, safe, and engaging environment that really has helped our son thrive. Each day, he would come home happy and excited about all the things he learned in class, and he especially loved the walks around the neighborhood and local field trips to nearby parks and the library. It was clear how much thought and care went into each activity, helping him grow, explore, and develop new skills. We are so grateful for everything Cassie and the teachers have done for our family. I don't know how Cassie does it, but the teachers are just so incredible and loving to the kids - it gave such a sense of reassurance to us that he was in good hands while we were there. We highly recommend ELC to anyone looking for a loving, supportive place for their child!

I can't recommend this daycare enough. My son Arthur started here at about about 4 months old. Betsy was the perfect teacher to help in his early development. Arthur, now 3 years old has graduated through a few classes and in each one he has gained friends, social knowledge, and better emotional intelligence than many adults I know. My son is kind, thoughtful, fun, happy, interested, and intelligent. A lot of that has to do with the incredible staff at Evergreen Learning Center. This place is genuinely amazing. Thank you Cassandra, Sam, Betsy, and everyone else there that has contributed to Arthur's early development.

Our family has moved around a bit, so my daughter has experience at lots of different daycare centers and preschools. She's been at ELC for two years now, and it has been by far the best! She is so happy to go to school, and I am blown away by how well prepared she is to start kindergarten in the fall. The teachers are attentive and caring, and the program takes advantage of the beautiful parks all around the neighborhood. We've also been thrilled to become a part of the tight-knit community of ELC families and have made friendships that I expect will last for a very long time. Highly recommend!
