EXPLORE & LEARN CHILDCARE AND PRESCHOOL LLC

My son and daughter have learned so much at Explore & Learn and love going. The staff are all friendly, patient, and find creative activities for kids to learn. I love that my daughter is learning to count in Spanish.

My two year old daughter has never been away from me before and she started going to Explore and Learn in June so I could get to my summer classes at Columbia Basin College. It is now August and my daughter has gotten used to the daycare. I have registered for my Fall classes and I brought in my new schedule along with Novas new schedule when I dropped her off. I come to pick her up and Ashley, the owner tells me that schedule just wont work for them. Even though I picked classes and made it to where when I drop her off and pick her up its not in the middle of any activity. Then she says “well at-least you have until September when fall classes start to figure something else out”. She claims to be a state provider, but from the second I told her it would be payed for by state she acted different towards me and my child and refused to send me the paperwork that needed to be filled out so my child could start there, I had to ask one of her workers i was friends with to get me the paper work then Ashley FINALLY sent it to me. I also already payed my co-pay for August and then she tells me it wont work. I still have a week left of summer quarter and being a single mom trying to go to school is already stressful. I would not recommend this daycare to anyone, especially if your child has never been away from you and gets sad when you leave at first Ashley will want them gone.
