FIRST YEARS CHILDREN'S CENTER

We were hesitant to send our 2yo here, and we should have followed our gut. There were constantly subs in the room and the class size was up to 17 kids for the 2.5-4yo room. The teachers regularly appeared irritated and our child cried every day at drop off, which he had never done before and has never done since. We only stayed for a month and a half. The final straw was a teacher complaining to us that our toddler was playing with the toilet brush alone in the bathroom. When asked why there were cleaning supplies within children's reach, we were told they could be removed if we thought that was necessary. So unprofessional and lazy, and the director never provided an apology or explanation. I actually had to answer questions from the state regarding the safety and well-being of our child since they flagged the incident as neglect.
