Our son has been going to James Place for over a year and we have had a wonderful experience with all the teachers and especially with Kathy's philosophy and how she runs the place. The staff truly care about our son like family. My son is biracial and I have never experienced any mistreatment based on skin color(as a previous review stated). It's a very inclusive environment and there are children with various needs and varied family backgrounds being treated with care, love and kindness. Lead teachers Dixie, Hannah and Sokkea are a joy to work with.

It’s dirty, it’s unorganized and I pulled my child out mid day for seeing on a classroom camera that the teacher was being aggressive with her…she was 8 months old at the time and they were upset she wouldn’t fall asleep when they wanted her to. It was a traumatic experience for my family
Kayla ZabelSep 9, 2022I absolutely adore James Place. There are three different rooms depending on the age of the child. We started going when my baby was 4 months old. He was then in the baby room. The baby room was a wonderfully nurturing place. My baby was able to interact with other babies, learn new things, and even learned some sign language. He was always very happy whenever he was there. His time at daycare got him used to a schedule and he began to be take regular naps even! He has now moved into the toddler room. He loves his time at 'school' and he is always very happy to be there. They go on outings and he gets to be with his friends. He is also on a regular nap and eating schedule which is perfect. James Place is very accommodating to his food intolerances and the staff is always quick to communicate. I'm very happy with our experience at James Place and I highly recommend it. Additionally, they are taking great precaution with protocols for Covid-19 and that makes me sleep easier.
Michelle VNov 4, 2020I have been so impressed with James Place and their staff. I really enjoy being able to log into the on-site camera system and see my daughter playing. It takes the place of our nanny sending me updates. I have caught some really sweet moments of staff rubbing my daughters back at nap time to help her fall asleep. I want to personally thank each and every staff member there for taking such good care of my daughter and going above and beyond to make her feel welcome, comfortable and safe. I their curriculum has been so much fun and my daughter has come home learning new things. It's been wonderful! I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to have my daughter at their preschool. I highly recommend James Place!
