LAKEMONT ACADEMY KINDERCARE

- very high teacher turnover - I saw a teacher very roughly putting a toddler in his chair which I reported to the director. - sent home a candy bar with nuts to my son who had a severe allergic reaction (they have his allergies on file) - for kids with allergies, I found out my son was having canned pears and cucumbers for lunch without any protein offered which is unacceptable - hallway carpet is very dirty + classrooms are clean + some of the teachers are great like Ms. Becca but most others were just there to babysit and didn’t seem to care too much. The kids treated the teachers like friends instead of grownups that they should respect. Overall, I would not put my child here unless he’s able to fend for himself. Even then, there are better options out there.

My two children (2 years and 3 years) have been attending Lakemont Academy for a year now and we love it. The teachers have been brilliant and the curriculum and activities seem to be engaging and fun. There’s a real community feel and we have become friends with several other families who we see regularly in the local playgrounds after school. A huge plus for this place are the grounds which are set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the outdoor space is great so the kids are able to enjoy the outdoors over summer. Drop-off and pick-up is super easy with plenty of parking space. Thanks for creating a happy and safe learning/playing environment for our kids!

Our 2 year old son loves Lakemont Academy. We are fortunate to have found this care center for our son admist the pandemic. Our son started very young about 6 months back and the teachers were very supportive helping him settle in. Miss Gitta, Miss Vibi, Miss Pila and their team of teachers do a wonderful job aiding the kids to be independent. I have been impressed at the growth in language skills, eating and sleeping schedules, and social skills. The teachers are creative with indoor and outdoor play. My son is super excited to go to school every morning and as a parent I am glad to have found this super team I can trust.

My daughter has been going to Lakemont Academy since 2019 and she absolutely loves school and her teachers. Ms. Gitta and her staff have been wonderful and so supportive towards the growth of my toddler. We didn’t have the best experience w the childcare prior and Lakemont Academy has been a fresh of breath air for my family. We truly trust the staff and their expertise. My daughter will def be finishing her preschooling here. Def recommend!

We are very grateful for the teachers at Lakemont Academy. Both of my sons went there since they were 1.5 years old. So many good teachers and good memories. My younger son is now still in pre-k program (his last year here). Ms Gitta and her team really are amazing, caring , fun teachers, who genuinely put the kids's need first. They work so extra hard for providing a safe environment for the kids during COVID. We are truly grateful for how fast and effective they put together new plans towards each different phase of the pandemic. Also they offer great phonics, math/stem small classes (Both of my kids really liked and benefited from the small classes taught by Ms. Carmit).
