I was so scared to put my 3 month old in daycare, but had to return to work after my maternity leave. My wife and I toured many daycares (we have VERY high standards as this is our first baby and we’ve never left her alone with anyone before) but were not having any luck until we toured Lakeshore. Upon walking into Lakeshore we immediately felt such a comforting presence from the staff, it was clear the facility was also well kept and clean. I came in with a whole page of questions written down and the infant teachers easily answered them all and were so understanding about the million and one questions I had!! Our baby has been enrolled for about a month now and we have nothing but positive things to say! Hannah made the enrollment so easy and is always available to answer my endless emails. Miss Laura and Miss Cody are ANGELS!! They have the patience of saints and are truly so caring towards our girl. They have helped us find a bottle that works for her, and were happy to test out bottles until we found one that she liked. Our baby was also struggling to nap and they recommended a different type of sleep sack for our girl, we got it and immediately she started napping better at school. They genuinely care so much about the babies in class. When I pick our girl up at the end of the day she is ALL smiles and clearly already loves Miss Laura and Miss Cody. I definitely recommend Lakeshore, and this is coming from a mom with very high standards for her baby. 😊
Skylar PriceJun 20, 2026My kids and I enrolled this last week, on Thursday I believe. The nonrefundable holding fees for my three children total $2000. They gave me the paperwork and informed me I needed separate sunscreen for each child. I went and bought three cans and brought them Monday. when i tried to hand it over, already labeled for each kiddo, they told me it couldn’t be aerosol per licensing. I asked if next time that could be made clear before we go purchase canisters, let them know I’d buy lotion before the first day and thought that was it. This morning, my kids and I showed up for their first day – we were handed a printed out email through the door, told we would not be allowed in the building, and they shut the door in our faces. My kids are traumatized, I’m appalled, and there’s no one willing to even discuss with me why my request was taken this way. I now have to find a new childcare, and I can’t help but be curious about the timing. also what’s police on non refundable fees for my children if my children never attended the school for a single day?
jenna meadowcroftJun 16, 2026We really liked the teachers in the infant room, wobblers, and toddlers. They were kind and took good care of our kiddo. We left because of the owner. She was not a very kind person and lacked customer service.
Stephanie AmatoFeb 12, 2026Our first experience with childcare outside of our home was with Lakeshore Learning Center. Our eldest joined when he was 4 and our youngest, 2.5. We primarily have worked with Ms. Kristina, Ms. Gaby and Ms. Journey. Seeing that this was a new experience for us, there were a lot of reservations I had about this new chapter; as with any parent, I was scared that they would not receive that attention they need, the level of care, etc. The teachers at Lakeshore Learning Center quickly put my anxiety at ease after seeing how they took my children under their wing, looked after and genuinely cared about their growth and wellbeing. Each teacher has a warmth to them which makes it very clear that they are there for your kids as both a teacher and friend. I was/am impressed by their structured daily routine and how they keep the children engaged with art, science, dance, song, sensory, etc. The center itself is clean, well organized and operated with kind people. Also, I cannot say enough about how pre-K at Lakeshore really provides the essential tools for Kindergarten readiness. We are thankful and blessed to be attending Lakeshore Learning Center. Thank you for all the love you have shown our kiddos!
Splausha BurksSep 19, 2025We have loved Lakeshore Learning Center! Our son has been there since he was 8 months, and we’ve had nothing but good experiences with the staff. They provide good communication on what’s going on at the school, and our son has thrived there. He looks forward to going each day, which makes my job as a mom so much easier.
Sarah KennedySep 18, 2025High standards and attention to detail- excellent teachers, high quality of staff, policies, outdoor play, food, and safety. Has been nothing but happy experiences! We were on a waitlist and they have always had great communication. So thankful Update- experience is that management is just really excellent, entire team is really the best - motivated learning and play activities, including holiday things parents don't always have time for, and the genuine love for their jobs and care given to each child. It translates to happy content kid and ability to know child is safe and truly given attention they need. What a blessing. Thank you
