This is a direct contradiction to Jay B's review of this facility. I'm not sure what his beef with the place is but absolutely nothing he says is true. If he lives at Fir Grove like he says, I'd like to say Fir Grove was a nice little park before they built your monstrosity, railroad-car resembling, way over-priced brutalist townhouses. In addition this women's rehab facility was there first, it was there when you rented the place, if you don't like it, leave. I live on the same street as this facility and have for five years. The ladies go on a group walk almost every day and these are the nicest ladies, mostly pushing baby strollers or holding the hands of their young children. They speak quietly to one another and they have often complimented me on my garden. One time one of them bent down to pet my cat and the employee walking with them said "we aren't allowed to touch animals, remember." And the lady stopped petting and said "aw." So I do doubt Jay's version of these ladies carrying knives around threatening people. I'm surprised the place doesn't sue him for even implying that. I have seen the police at Creekside Village at least once a month, which is next door to this center. Creekside Village has turned into a SWAT officer's wet dream. The picture Jay used to show how "awful" these women are was a Creekside picture. These women are never in the road, never loud, never rude. They don't loiter in the street, they don't even cross the street. They walk out down the street turn and come back. I won't add my pictures of how lovely these ladies are even though I have a video camera on my porch and could, because I don't want to break privacy. I'll add one of my garden so I get some google points. These women are working hard to be sober mom's and they deserve respect for that. I genuinely respect them and the people who work at the facility for all their strength.
Donna LAug 25, 2025I live adjacent to this facility and have been experiencing ongoing disturbances that are becoming increasingly difficult to manage. Nearly every morning between 7–8 a.m., employees play loud music at a disruptive volume. Additionally, there are weekly group gatherings or walks where participants are often loud, walk in the middle of the road, and disregard the use of sidewalks—making it challenging for residents to safely navigate to and from their homes. On one occasion, two individuals loitered on our front porch and claimed they were affiliated with the neighboring facility. When I asked them to leave, as it was private property, they responded rudely, and one of them brandished a large knife in a threatening manner. This interaction was extremely unsettling and concerning for the safety of my household. Emergency responders are frequently called to the facility, and just this evening, there was an actual fire. Disturbingly, during the incident, I could hear individuals from the property laughing and joking about the fire while the fire department was actively working to contain it. Given the potential danger and how quickly fire can spread, this kind of behavior is not only inappropriate but also deeply concerning for neighboring residents like myself. As a paying resident of Fir Grove, I feel there is a significant lack of regard for the surrounding community. I strongly believe more consideration needs to be given to how the activities and conduct of those at the facility are impacting nearby residents.
