LITTLE SCHOLARS MONTESSORI ACADEMY

We’re so thankful we found Little Scholars! After trying another Montessori school, the difference here is night and day. You can really tell that the teachers care about empowering kids and academics. On the drives home my son is excited to tell me about the new things he’s learning. One of the things I love most about this school is their focus on excellence. The staff is amazing at helping kids build self regulation and other important skills too. The teachers share detailed daily/weekly lesson plans, encourage us to continue the learning at home, and communicate very well. My husband and I love seeing our sons work folder every Friday. My son has made incredible progress and truly loves going; he usually doesn't even want to leave. Big difference from his last Montessori. The teachers are warm, the structure is solid, and he feels safe every day. I also appreciate the diversity among both students and staff and the strong sense of community among parents. You can tell that this is a group of parents that are deeply invested in their kids...and I love that! If I could change one thing, I’d love to see a more engaging playground and maybe even a little garden for the kids. Still, the education here is exceptional and I’d make the same choice again without hesitaton. If you’re searching for a school you can really trust, tour Little Scholars even if it’s a bit of a drive or a waitlist. I’ve done the late night research and visited many schools, and this is the one worth it! Plus, they’re open until 6 PM (which is rare in Montessori) and so helpful.

My 3.5-year-old daughter started at Little Scholars Montessori Academy just a month ago, and I’m already seeing such a positive difference in her behavior, communication skills, and overall temperament. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but you can tell they truly care about the children, which sets this school apart from other traditional preschools. What really makes this place special is the director, Yolanda. She is organized, energetic, and truly the heart and soul of the school. She makes an effort to get to know every child and parent, and her way with the kids is just incredible. I also love that this is a Black-owned school with a wonderfully diverse community of students. The classrooms are immaculate, and being located inside a beautiful church, the school has access to both an outdoor playground and an indoor gym. I’m so excited to watch my daughter continue to grow, thrive, and develop here. I couldn’t recommend Little Scholars Montessori Academy more highly!

Moving our 3-year-old son to this Montessori school has honestly been the best decision we’ve made. The teachers are so caring and really take the time to connect with each child. You can tell they love what they do, and our son has thrived because of it. The head of school, Yolanda, is amazing. She truly cares for her students and shows up every day with such a warm smile and a big heart. It makes such a difference knowing our child is in a place where he is not only learning but also surrounded by people who genuinely care about him. We are so grateful for this school and couldn’t recommend it more!

Little Scholars Montessori is literally the best decision our family made and we can't stop thanking them enough. The care, love and attention Mrs Yolanda and the teachers put into the children is remarkable. We consider them family. My son has grown in his confidence and I thank LSMA for that. Keep empowering our children to be the best version of themselves.

LSMA is an amazing school. The learning, care and genuine love these children recieve at this school is a true blessing. Ms. Yolanda and all the staff are amazing as well. Our daughter absolutely loves this school so much she cries when it's time to go home. She's learned so much since she's attended school here and her confidence and independence is stronger than ever.
