I love this place for my son! He has grown so much while being there. I love that I feel comfortable with him there and know that he is always safe and loved.
Kassy DumkeMay 13, 2026Our son has been at Montessori for over a year now and we love it! We were originally at a daycare in town that felt like absolute choas everytime we did pick up, lots of plastic toys and things to keep the kids distracted and busy all day. We wanted something more educational, not so stimulating, where he would actually learn something with boundaries while also gaining confidence and independence. We did a tour after hearing soo many good things from local families. Immediately after our first time meeting Beth, we signed up and couldn’t wait for our son to start. Beth, the director and the primary teacher in our son’s room is incredible; the perfect mix of professionalism and warmth. We are consistently amazed at the things our son can do for his age. The flow of the classroom and the Montessori principles allow him to learn at his own pace, pursue topics that interest him and build on real life skills. I feel good just letting him play and be a boy at home without having to worry about working on reading or math because I know he’s working on this at school using a creative, hands on proven method with experienced teachers. I also love that the school feels like a community, where you know the families of the kids your child’s attending school with. I feel like the other families are just as invested in their kids future as we are. The price is more than fair for the individualized attention and extensive experience the teachers bring. Another one of my favorite things is the that the snack list is whole foods, with minimally processed items. My son needed the peer pressure to try things he wouldn’t ordinarily try at home. Overall, we feel really lucky to have found this school. Everytime we leave a parent teacher conference we are even more convinced we made the right choice for our son.
Kalie ElliotMay 7, 2026Love this school. We are on our second year and my daughter has thrived not only with her independence but also with her interests/intelligence. We do full days, but they do offer half days along with fewer days as different options for your kiddo. We love the staff, teachings, and hours. They offer before school care and after school care at a very reasonable price.
Gabriella FriedelMay 7, 2026My son attended Montessori Children’s House for four years and completed kindergarten at the school. Montessori has been one of the most meaningful investments I’ve made for my son and family. The school cultivates independence and initiative in its students and provides regular opportunity for children to teach and learn from each other. The staff maintains a balance of flexibility and accountability for student related behaviors and encourages students to find their own solutions and agreements for their problems. My six year old fluently reads well above grade level and understands concepts of multiplication, division and even adding/subtracting fractions. Most importantly Montessori Children’s House provided my son the foundations of leadership and intrinsic motivation as he regularly orders his own food, communicates his needs at medical visits with professionals, creates his own board games and draws in peers with his creativity and individuality. Thank you Beth, Amy, Avalon and all at Montessori! We have cherished this time greatly.
Katherine AslinJun 13, 2025Best staff and feels amazing to drop my daughter off in an environment where she can thrive. My daughter has been going here for 3 years and I have zero regrets. Not only is she safe, but she has been growing in an uplifting environment since she was 2.5 years old, therefore she associates learning with opportunity and fun. Highly recommend this investment into your child ! ❤️❤️❤️
stephanie whiteApr 28, 2025We love this school! My son looks forward to going every day to see his friends and teachers, and he is really developing a love of learning. The staff is wonderful! They care about the kids and run a great Montessori program that allows them to thrive and have fun. We feel so lucky to have this school in our community! 100% recommend!
