Five Stars: Outstanding Care and Enrichment at NELC We've been part of the NELC family for 14 months now, and choosing them for our son has been one of the best decisions we've made for his early childhood development. NELC offers a truly exceptional balance of nurturing care, engaging activities, and a solid community focus. What truly sets NELC apart is their incredible commitment to outdoor activity and hands-on enrichment. Our son gets to visit the playground at least twice a day - ensuring he gets crucial physical activity and fresh air. The planning for major events is simply fantastic—the Summer activities were huge hits, especially having the fire truck visit and bringing in petting animals for the kids to interact with. We also deeply appreciated the organized field trip, like the visit to the Seattle Children's Museum, which shows their dedication to educational experiences beyond the classroom walls. For parents and families seeking a daycare service that will mold young minds in the way of the Lord and provide good, nurturing care away from home, we recommend NELC wholeheartedly. The staff creates a consistently warm, stimulating, and faith-centered environment where our child feels safe and loved. NELC is an excellent choice, and while we believe there are always improvement opportunities—as with any thriving, growing organization—they consistently demonstrate a desire to listen to feedback and excel in their mission. NELC what a great place to bring your kids for early education! Like many other families my family and i were feeling anxious about brining our little one to a daycare center. When i came to tour the place, and meet with the director and other teachers, they were all welcoming and provided me all the information i requested, as well as answered all of my questions! still after then we were still feeling a little anxious. Once our kiddo started to attend the center we noticed the huge POSITIVE impact it had on his social, emotional and academic development! Our kiddo graduated and no longer attend NELC, but regularly asks to go back to his old school . Every opportunity he has he will compare his current school to NELC. NELC have impacted our lives tremendously in a good and positive way, that if we could we would do it all over again. EVERYONE there is super welcoming, friendly, and respectful! if you are looking for a place to bring your kid, this is the place!

My daughter absolutely loves her daycare. She’s been here for 2 years since she was 1 and half and she went from toddler one, toddler two, preschool and she will be prek soon! NELC feels like home and i am so relieved while she’s in school because I know she is in good hands. She has so much fun in school and every morning she wakes up wanting to go to school. I highly recommend this place!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about NELC! It is truly a blessing to have found such an amazing early learning center that not only provides excellent education but also builds everything on a faith-based foundation. The teachers here genuinely love on their students — you can feel it in the way they nurture, guide, and encourage the children every single day. I’ve been so grateful to see both of my boys thrive since joining the NELC community. They come home excited to share what they’ve learned, and I have peace of mind knowing they are in a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment. If you’re considering enrolling your little ones, I highly recommend this school! And for families with more than one child, it would be great to know if there are sibling discounts available — because this is definitely the kind of place you’d want all your kids to experience.

My daughter has been attending NELC since she was 18 months old, and I only wish we had discovered it earlier. Every day she comes home happy, full of stories about her teachers and friends, and it’s clear how much she truly loves her time there. What sets NELC apart is the warm, family-like atmosphere. It feels less like a daycare and more like an extended family gathering where every child is cared for and celebrated. Over time, we’ve watched our daughter blossom—she has learned how to interact with others, gained confidence, and reached important developmental milestones with the gentle guidance of her teachers. The curriculum is impressive for a preschool setting. In Pre-K, children are introduced to science and art in a fun and engaging way, and music and dance classes are also part of their experience. The teachers prepare the kids well for the transition to kindergarten, both academically and socially. Honestly, I wish NELC offered higher classes too, because we would love to keep her here longer. Another big plus is the food. Meals are always clean, fresh, and healthy—balanced with proteins, carbohydrates, and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. It’s a huge relief knowing that nutrition is taken seriously. We’re so glad to have found NELC for our daughter. Even though options have opened up for her to attend Pre-K at her intended elementary school, we’ve chosen to stay with NELC because of the relationships, growth, and joy she has found here. It gives us peace of mind to know she is in such a nurturing and enriching environment. I cannot recommend NELC highly enough for any parent looking for a place where their child will be cared for, challenged, and loved like family.
