  • Both of our boys have had a wonderful experience at Smart Start Day School! From day one, Director Shonny and the teachers have been absolutely incredible. Our older son started in the Forest Rangers class, where he thrived, building friendships, growing in confidence, and becoming fully prepared for kindergarten. Our younger son has now had the joy of learning in every classroom, benefiting from the nurturing support and care of each teacher along the way. We’ve especially appreciated the school’s hours, which make it possible for us to work full time knowing our children are safe, happy, and well cared for. We couldn’t recommend Smart Start more highly!

  • We will be forever grateful to Smart Start and their wonderful staff for the experience they gave our son. Over his years at Smart Start, our kid flourished. The team did a wonderful job not only preparing him for kindergarten, but giving him all the tools necessary to be a happy, outgoing, resilient 5 year old. We were always kept up to date with how he was doing, what he was enjoying, and any challenges along the way.

  • Our daughter has attended Smart Start since 2023 and has truly thrived as part of the community. She has learned how to be independent, resourceful, and a contributing member of her class. The genuine care and dedication of the teachers have been a huge part of her success. Each day she looks forward to going to school, excited to learn something new. She has even become a Pre-K yoga expert! We’ve seen her confidence grow in so many ways, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have found a school that values her as an individual, supports us as a family, and builds a strong community for students and families alike.

  • Both of my boys attended smart start and it was a wonderful place for them to grow and learn outside the home. Our boys have very different personalities and strengths but each was met on the right level and challenged appropriately. Smart Start was an integral part of our family and I am so glad that I chose this school.

  • My 3 year old daughter has been a student here for about 8 months now and I am so grateful we found this school. The teachers are kind and warm and come up with great learning and play activities for the kids. The director Shonny is an absolute all star. They are supportive and also reinforce good lessons about behavior expectations. Daily pictures and updates over the app. Huge, secure outdoor play space in back. The only negative at all is that parking can be a pain sometimes, but it's not a big deal. Highly recommend.

  • Our son attended Alexandra's Renton location for 3.5 years and we absolutely loved it. Her well thought out curriculum and "learning through play" program gave our son a great start and a very positive preschool experience. He is now in Kindergarten and our challenge is to keep that momentum going so he continues to love learning like he did at Alexandra's!
