Stellar is my child's third daycare school, and my only regret is not finding this place sooner. We've been at other two major "brand" name daycare centers before, but we are the most happy at Stellar. I personally believe the biggest factor that differentiates Stellar from other schools is the quality of teachers. All the teachers here treat kids with love and respect, and I think the kids feel that. Kids develop a respectful bond with the teachers so they actually listen. They are true educators and will assess your kids accurately. Another thing that was impressive was the responsiveness of the school. When you email them with a question, you will hear from them in a very timely manner and their response is always a thoughtful one, not a rushed canned answer. This is one of those places you want to keep to yourself so it won't be crowded, but now my older one graduated and my younger one secured a spot, I'm happy to share.
J. YuAug 6, 2025while the school is ok my experience has been highly disappointing. When I toured this place I asked a lot of questions and Ms. Antoinette gave me the assurance that Stellar was going to be a good fit for my 4 year daughter and that they provided full days. Unfortunately only a week and I have to pull her out due to how unprofessional and with zero regard from the director Ms. Deepika. I enrolled for full days and I communicated that due to my work and school schedule I am only able to pick up at 5pm given I get off around 4:30pm with commute from Kirkland. within this week the 7th day of my daughter attending here Ms. Deepika decided that my daughter needed to be picked up by 3:00pm because my daughter gets too "overwhelmed and she had rezo regard even when I told her that I couldn't do that because I can't get off work earlier than 4:30pm and especially not everyday and I didn't have anyone to watch her. She didn't seem to care and now I have no choice but to pull her out because they can't accommodate when they said they could and she expects me to risk loosing my job by leaving work early. I waited over a week for my daughter to start here just for them to waste my time and now I have to start all over again. Additionally, they believe that every child is a sweet little angel who does not go through mood swings or throws tantrum and they lack the resources to help calm my daughter down or even find ways to help her get comfortable to her new environment. For a school you need to be aware that you will run into children who do not express themselves like the rest of the kids and you would need to be able to handle these challenges when they happen. During pick up my kid told me that her classmates didn't want to play with her and I watched while they were avoiding her in the playground like she was a stranger. If you could only image the heartbreak in a mother' heart hearing and seeing that her kid wasn't clearly welcomed at this school. I wish they would have been upfront and put a disclaimer on the type of families they accept instead of being pretentious and wasting my time. Very disappointing!
Bellmyche Princess TandaJul 12, 2025My son joined Stellar when he was two years old, and now we can’t wait to send my second kid to Stellar! We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this place. During our school tour, the Director Ms. Deepika told us that Stellar is not only committed to educating children academically, but more importantly, to inspiring their passion and curiosity for learning and encouraging them to explore. We deeply resonate with this philosophy, and it was one of the main reasons we decided to join Stellar right away. I’ve already recommended Stellar to many of my friends and family, here’s why: 1. The teachers are incredibly dedicated and responsible. Since my son joined Stellar, we’ve been pleasantly surprised by his daily growth and progress, not only in knowledge, but also in emotional development, self-regulation, and discipline. He has learned to be patient and take turns, to share with others, and to use gentle hands. He throws fewer tantrums, has become kinder, and even helps clean up his own toys. 2. My kid is also noticeably more cheerful and expressive. His vocabulary has grown rapidly, and he can now engage in full conversations and communicate clearly. He can count, and every day at school he participates in crafts and art activities. At home, he continues to want to read, sing, and draw, these are all things that Stellar has helped nurture in him. 3. When I mentioned to the teachers that my child was a picky eater, they patiently encouraged and supported him during lunchtime to ensure he got the nutrition he needed. Over time, he began finishing most of his lunch and reached a healthy weight. The teachers always take parents’ concerns seriously and do their best to support both the child and the family, which I truly appreciate. 4. External Environment: The school is located near major transportation hubs, yet nestled within a quiet residential neighborhood. It’s peaceful, convenient, and has easy parking. 5. Campus Environment: The classrooms and various facilities are very clean. The entire campus gives me a strong sense of cleanliness, safety, comfort, and simplicity, exactly the kind of warm and welcoming atmosphere I look for in a daycare.
Lulu GJul 9, 2025Stellar Montessori academy is by far the best option for your kids education. Our son is member of the Montessori program. We have seen huge improvements and also teachers are so helpful with him and his needs. School Director Deepika is by far a joy to work with. She cares deeply for the kids, their improvement and support. She is helpful, always available and understands kids needs. Teachers are so organized, Montessori curriculum is at top level and your kid will love each and every moment at the school.
