Blessings community. Where do I start...oh well, why not, let us start at the beginning. I have been knowing Mr. Marquis and Mrs. Rachel for over 20 years now...and yes they are family at this point. They were young adults: before running & operating, then owning A Joyful Noise Child Care (AJN). Now being a successful, nationally accredited childcare service (that was good)! Upon meeting them: without words, they pronounced this etiquette of poise and integrity. Yes as young non-business owning adults.. I had a front row seat as this young black couple metamorphosed into business owners. I witnessed the career shift. I witnessed a TEAM really operate. Until I became a Grammie, needing a childcare service was never a thought. For the last five years, my out of town Grammies: has looked forward to visiting for a month or so every summer. A simple phone call to AJN, or pick up documents, and boom their files smoothly come from inactive to active status for the duration of children's visit. Even though we are an inherited family, we were under the same re-enrollment requirements year after year. No nepotism in play. I appreciated this process instead of griping about it. Protocol was followed by the staff. The organization and being in the know is good customer service. Perspective: The experience of the staff holding each cohesive child: who is an individual, accountable is the culture of AJN. There are adults that do not take accountability for their behaviors. The children are given opportunities, if needed, to get it together before consequence. One thing I am certain of, AJN do not suspend the children as a way of avoidance from behavior, instead they work with the children, not against. AJN's staff have exemplified how certain children's behavior can be turned positive: whereas, made into a teaching moment. For both the children and the staff. Those various AJN experiences for our children makes for better choices, makes for a healthier community overall. When organization exists in an organization there is organization. AJN is an organization, which is a form of family. The true essence of Mr. Marquis and Mrs. Rachel is the true essence of AJN: full of poise, integrity, and SUPPORT of family. Even if the family is by inheritance. We all could aspire to have a business run such as AJN. Psalm 100:1 Make A JOYFUL NOISE unto the Lord, all ye lands. Black Love is Black Power
Ms. KeKeJun 15, 2026My youngest son has been at A Joyful Noise since he was just 6 weeks old. As a mom with a baby so young in childcare, I can honestly say they cared for him like he was their own. It’s been such a joy to watch him grow and develop into the amazing little person he is now at 2 years old. Seeing the center go through Accreditation and go the extra mile for their students has been incredible. For new moms, I highly recommend A Joyful Noise—they guide you through everything and even provide diapers, wipes, and baby food. I also love checking Procare during the day to see updates and photos of my son, as they are so detailed and thoughtful. The staff is always warm and helpful. On days when I just need to vent and be heard, they’re there for me like a second family. I’m truly grateful to have such an amazing support system.
Marisela ObregonMay 22, 2026My now 19 year old son attended AJNCC most of his childhood. I'm a VERY protective mom and I had no worries with the staff at AJNCC. The environment meant was welcoming, staff were positive and joyful, learning curriculums were TOP TIER‼️ My son was beyond prepared for kindergarten thanks to the teachers and staff! I would choose A Joyful Noise over again in every lifetime!
Terreana NealMay 22, 2026If you don’t have family that work here i would not recommend this daycare. Teachers pick and choose who behavior to check. If the kid is not hitting a kid that belongs to them they don’t care. No update to parents about child behavior. They use Procare app but nothing the update is really accurate. I picked up my kid one day right after i got notified that he’s been change and my kid was soiled.
marie kinardMay 8, 2026As a new mom, starting daycare for my 3 month old was a huge transition for me, but A Joyful Noise has made the experience so much easier and more comforting. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and truly cares about the children there. I really appreciate that they provide diapers and formula, and they always make sure my son is fed and changed before pickup. They also use an app that allows me to check in on him throughout the day, which gives me so much peace of mind. It’s clear that they genuinely care for the babies and work hard to create a safe and loving environment. I’m so grateful for the support and care they’ve given both my son and me during this new chapter!
AshlieMay 7, 2026This Daycare will definitely stimulate your child’s mind. This place is a great pick for child care. staff are friendly and care they also keep you up to date with the procare app . This is a diverse setting owned by black excellence . I also enjoy how they do something every month along with a news letter . It’s a place you feel at ease with .My children love to get up and go daily .
