  • I am the owner of Adventures to Learning Childcare. We opened as a licensed facility on 06/10/2024. We have a team of committed early childhood professionals who work towards educating the whole child—socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually—to set the stage for lifelong learning and adventures. While reading through the reviews, please note that some of them are from the prior child care business, with which we have NO affiliation. In fact, one individual who had written a poor review of the previous business has since returned her daughter to child care with us for the past two summers. Also, keep in mind that not every child/family is a good fit for our center. Yes, we are a peanut-free facility, and children are offered sunflower butter as an alternative. This is a personal decision that was made for Adventures to Learning. If you or someone you know is looking for childcare, call us. We would love to show you our Center so you can see for yourself.

  • I left a bad review on Facebook due to my horrible experience with this place. Their response was to block me, so now I will rate it again on Google. They kicked my 1 year old kid out of their center because she had a hard time adjusting after 15 days. My daughter had separation anxiety. She cried while un their care and they couldn't handle it. Teachers were so overwhelmed and angry with my 1 year old that they were shaking and teary eyed. I was told this by Julie, the director. Why would anyone want someone watching their kids who has such a reaction to a little girl crying for her mommy? Mind you, my child never did anything aggressive or bad to anyone. She just cried and they must've thought that was inconvenient. So ultimately they kicked her out. She has started a new daycare now and is thriving. No daycare should hire people that can't show patience and keep their composure while working with a 1 year old kid. After hearing about this I was afraid for my child's safety. They have other unsafe things in this center too. The play area requires them to walk through the parking lot which they did while holding hands..... two teachers and 8 1 year olds... what happens if the kids decide to walk off as a car is coming? Not really the safest option for childcare. I do NOT recommend this place to any parent. Incompetent teachers who are just a few cries away from blowing up at the kids in the toddler rooms? No thank you. Not to mention they cannot keep any kind of consistency as far as teachers in their respective classrooms. (Hence why my daughter never adjusted, having a new teacher everyday is not very comforting for a 1 year old) I would suggest parents take their kids elsewhere.

  • This center is beyond amazing. The staff seem to genuinely care about what they are doing and from the looks on the children’s faces you can tell they are well cared for! You can obviously tell that the owners take pride in all they do for their staff and the children in their care. My personal favorites are Ms. Saryah and Mr. Karlos. If you ever need a place for child care i highly recommend this facility!!! If I could give more stars I would.

  • May be a decent place. We were in process of filling out paper-work when I saw the dumbest thing I have ever seen in such a situation - they restrict what food you can bring for your own child. They are a "peanut free facility", as if they are a food manufacturer. Our son has diabetes and peanut butter is low glycemic. Great way for an easy meal every-other-day to send with to school/daycare, and maintain stable blood sugar.

  • Wish I could give less stars. Our family has worked with numerous daycare in the area, and I would not recommend this one if you have any sort of problem child. They refused to work with me or assist my daughter and instead kicked her out versus educating or getting staff in who can handle children outside of perfect ones. Due to her speech delay, we were told she was too difficult to deal with, which is quite the opposite both her preschool, pediatrician, and family attest to. Each day I picked up I could sense her being a burden to let go instead of the happy glowing sense I've always experienced when they truly care for a child. They'd let her sit and soak through diapers instead of using the pull-ups provided and assisting in pottying while she's there even though that's her routine outside of daycare. Furthermore, the hours are a lie and reflect 6 PM. The staff actually leave by 5:30 and I was forced to change my work schedule to meet this need. Absolutely unprofessional. I'd highly recommend Stepping Stones, Family Tree Center, or countless other facilities that staff and train appropriately, and treat ALL children as family.

Questions parents ask about ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC

Is ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC holds Wisconsin licence 0000591800-001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Eau Claire County, licensed since 2024-06-10. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC's YoungStar rating?

YoungStar rates ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.

What are ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC's hours?

The state directory lists 06:00 AM-06:00 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC take?

The licence covers 6 weeks to 12 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects ADVENTURES TO LEARNING LLC's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
