  • I should have reviewed this place years ago when we brought our first kid there. This place is awful! You fill out forms of what your kid cannot eat either due to allergies, intolerances and stuff. Regardless of what you write down, they still fed our daughter that stuff and she'd end up sick and they would send her home. If sent home, she couldn't come to daycare the next day. This is 100% unacceptable and seems like a scam. The director is awful and I personally had alot of confrontations with her. Do not send your child here!

  • We love our daycare! Our daughter loves seeing her teachers everyday, and Ms. Bott and Mrs. Hunter so a great job running the program!

  • I don’t recommend this daycare for under-one-year-olds. The classroom is not set up for teacher success. Practical organization is lacking. For example, the colored rubber band system that the director advertised for labeling bottles is impractical and thus not followed. There was not enough counter space for the teacher to efficiently prepare bottles and/or meals. There was only one working high chair in a room for four babies (one disassembled high chair was also present, but was not set up as the director indicated it would be). There was no where for the teacher to sit as they fed a baby. This leads to the teacher awkwardly standing towering over the baby, which seemed to be intimidating especially for sensitive babies who are just learning to eat and seemed to make the teacher uncomfortable as well. I know the legal maximum is one caretaker to four babies, but 4:1 is an extremely challenging ratio for under one year olds. It’s unfortunate that the environment added another layer of challenge making for situations where basic needs of infants are easily overlooked. It seemed like the environment was stressful for both teachers and babies.

  • We had our daughter here for about 9 months before she departed to enter K3 at her siblings' school system. The COTL staff are patient, ever-cheerful, welcoming, and genuine. The hours are great; the facilities are clean, safe, and secure; and it is an excellent value. I would highly recommend COTL.

  • I love this daycare!! I’ve been working here for two years! One place you can trust for your children to be safe and well taken care of. 10/10 would recommend

  • The best daycare/preschool in town! The only place I would entrust my children to. Employees are people of integrity and consistency, they are honest, genuine, friendly and careful.

Questions parents ask about CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE

Is CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE holds Wisconsin licence 8000581678-001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in La Crosse County, licensed since 2006-10-16. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE's YoungStar rating?

YoungStar rates CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.

What are CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE's hours?

The state directory lists 06:30 AM-06:00 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE take?

The licence covers 6 weeks to 10 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects CHILDREN OF THE LORD DAYCARE's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
