As a local public school teacher, I can vouch for this being a high quality environment for kids to grow. The space gives so many opportunities for both indoor and outdoor play. Jordan and the staff have an excellent balance of boundaries to keep the kids safe while also giving them a lot of freedom to explore. It's a special place - highly recommend!

She gets them outside for learning opportunities every day and she does a great job at creating a feeling of ease because of the excellent communication she provides to families while they are there. My kid loves Playcare. Highly recommend.
Megan Nichole HughesOct 14, 2025My child goes to Free Range Playcare and loves it. He loves all of the wonderful play space, his friendships, and his wonderful childcare provider. Momma loves that he comes home dirty from playing outside and he’s happy! We appreciate the flexibility that Free Range Playcare has provided for our family as we have had some changes with family schedules. Jordan’s indoor space is beautiful, CLEAN, and she has LOTS of fun modern toys. Free Range Playcare is a family, not just a daycare. Ohh, and they have chickens!!! Randomly at home I will hear “I just want to hold a chicken mom!” I think that’s just about the cutest thing ever! We sure appreciate Free Range Playcare and Jordan.

Her facilities are beautiful and clean, with lots of opotrunities for open ended, imaginative play. I LOVE that it's a small family run center. Each kid gets lots of attention, encouragement, and you can feel assured that your child is truely valued and looked after. When I drive away, I feel confident that my daughter is in great hands. That she is safe, that she is loved, and that she's going to have a great day. That means more than anything. We are so thankful to have found Jordan and Free Range Playcare ❤️

The environment is safe, nurturing, and filled with fun learning opportunities and adventures 🖤 Jordan goes above and beyond every single day — she is patient, attentive, and truly invested in each child’s well-being. My kids come home happy and excited to share everything they learned and did that day. As a parent, the peace of mind is priceless. What really sets Free Range apart is the balance of structured learning with plenty of play, creativity, and outdoor time. We’ve seen our children grow in confidence, independence, and kindness since starting here. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, professional, and loving daycare in the Iron River area, I cannot recommend Free Range enough. It is hands-down the best childcare choice we’ve made!!
