  • Enjoyed walking the track upstairs It was a perfect time not too busy at 10 a.m.

  • Of all of the YMCAs in the area, this is far and away the worse one. Specifically, the life guards are over zealous with there ridiculous safety policy and the sheer laziness of seldom operating the water slide.

  • Update* this Y is still by far the best and pleasant staff. Unfortunately lacks things to do. The 2 gym area is always closed. There is swimming but its pretty small area for open swim and if you child is over 9years old there isn't much to to. Its nice they can join me in the gym area but they are still kids just wanting to play. Hopefully they get it more kid friendly. This one out of all the fox Y is the most kid friendly too.

  • Hey, just gotta thank the ymca for having such joyous lifeguards who really love enforcing the rules! If the whole family wasn't in the pool, everyone would be in danger of drowning. Thank God the lifeguard enforces there to have at least their toes in the water. Without those toes. Those kids would probably die. If they are just a foot away from the pool and watching those kids play, the pool would instantly turn red, and there is no telling what coulda happened. I think there should be rules where ALL people in the family should have their waists in the pool, and even than, EVEN THAN, I fear for the safety of our children. Now when it's 2hrs later and its just open swim and not family swim. That's when you can let your guard now, and pray to God you don't need to survive another family swim. 1 star

  • Have both my 2 yr old daughter and 3 year old son in the gymnastics program. They put them in a tiny room with no area to view them. The instructors are nice, but the facility they use isn’t worth the price of entry. Would like to add this ymca shuts down the basketball gym for sports other than basketball. They only have one court here, so if you’re looking for a place to pay and play basketball, this isn’t the place.

  • I like the Y and have had no problems with the staff. I would encourage management to consider replacing the floor in the locker rooms as it really smells and has to have bacteria in it. The pool is just too small to service the amount of members the Y has rarely is there an open lane and the exercise equipment is pretty shot.

Questions parents ask about HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA

Is HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA holds Wisconsin licence 5000560455-031, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Outagamie County, licensed since 2002-10-17. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA's YoungStar rating?

YoungStar rates HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.

What are HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA's hours?

The state directory lists 06:30 AM-06:00 PM, Jan-Dec. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA take?

The licence covers 3 years to 12 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects HEART OF THE VALLEY YMCA's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
