Went there for a while to swim but it was impossible to swim there because a lot of old people swim there and they have a lot of classes and the school use the pool gave up also a lot of old men walk around naked in the locker rooms they have no manners. I was paying to go there not free.

Chole WApr 15, 2026I am highly disappointed with my recent experience at the YMCA. A week ago, I was told that I couldn’t leave my daughter in the kids’ club because I didn’t have her diaper bag with me, even though I was in the process of retrieving it from the car. The staff member was very rude and unhelpful, making me feel uncomfortable for simply trying to make sure my daughter was well cared for. Today, I came prepared with the diaper bag in hand, yet I was informed that my daughter would not be allowed to stay due to the previous complaint. It’s incredibly frustrating to be penalized for something that was out of my control, and it’s upsetting to feel like my daughter’s well-being isn’t their priority. I decided to cancel my membership today because I cannot justify paying for a service where my child is not welcomed or cared for properly. I will not be returning to a facility that doesn’t offer reliable and respectful service. Unacceptable, and I would not recommend the YMCA to others based on this experience.
Jenifer MonterrosaMar 14, 2026I recently had the opportunity to set up for a birthday party in the party room at the Kenosha YMCA, and I was very impressed! While I didn’t book the event myself, I was there to decorate and help with setup. The staff was friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and the room itself was super clean and spacious—perfect for hosting a celebration. They do only allow access 30 minutes before the party, so be sure to plan accordingly. The setup worked out great: the kids started with swimming and then transitioned to the party room afterward. It seemed like a really fun, well-rounded experience for the guests, and from what I heard, it’s also very reasonably priced for a 2-hour party. All around, a great space to host a birthday celebration in Kenosha! Highly recommend checking it out!
Charrie FergusonMay 25, 2025Hey, this place is huge and it has a lot of stuff to do inside like swimming& exercising. I think I even saw a sauna? My grandkids were there swimming in one of the smaller pools. Check it out.
