We absolutely loved this daycare. My child flourished here! I'm very grateful for the staff as they provided my child and every other child so much attention and care. I highly recommend enrolling here!
Nicole MajewskiNov 6, 2024I learned today that they take my 2.5 year old to visit her 10 month old brother when she’s upset and needs some cheering up. It’s little actions like that which shows how much love, care and respect they have for the kids that attend their daycare. In addition, the teachers are phenomenal and the directors welcome any feedback and criticism you share with them. They always make you feel empowered for speaking up for your child.
LauraJul 6, 2023My husband and I were very impressed when we toured the facility very early in my pregnancy (about week 9). With how difficult is to get into a daycare we put our name on the wait list and we were ecstatic to get a call that they had a spot for us about a week after my son was born. I was told that they would send a contract via email for us to fill out and a way to send a deposit to secure our spot. I gave in 24 hours and no email so I called and was informed the internet has crashed so they would email me the contract at the end of the week. Nothing. I called the next week and was told the same thing, internet was still down, they would send the contract asap! It's now been 8 weeks, 4 phone calls where I've been told not to worry, they will send the contract the very next day! I told them my concern that we had gotten into other daycares and I wanted to cement my spot by before turning them down and my was told dont worry, they won't give our spot away! They would email the contract first thing in the morning. That was 4 weeks ago and nothing. And multiple unanswered emails. We now signed on with a different daycare. I NEVER write reviews but this is insane to me. This is people's livelihood. If if we hadn't signed on with another daycare and continued to wait, we would be without childcare in a few weeks when I go back to work. What are people supposed to do in this situation? This could have cost me my job if I continued to wait and ended up with no options. I don't know what happened but it feels like we got strung along and it makes me truly question this places integrity. I hope this helps a future parent.
Kristin TerranovaAug 4, 2022My daughter was enrolled here for 5 months. School aged teachers are never engaged with the kids when I picked my daughter up in the evening. They never say hi, it just isnt welcoming at all. They swore in front of my daughter on more than one occasion as well as showed their middle finger to each other. My daughter was hurt twice, once with a huge knot on her head and the adults there had NO IDEA. She came out crying. When I called management to address my concerns, there was no feedback or concern really. They seem to only be worried about another body and money there. When I said that I was taking my daughter out, they literally didnt care or show no concern as to why. This is the only daycare my daughter absolutely despised going to. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody!
Marissa WrightFeb 10, 2020Can you trust a place that doesn't take feedback and penalizes unborn children and expectant parents instead of trying to continuously improve? No. After touring (beautiful facility) we put our name on the waiting list. Having not heard back for several months we checked in again and Robin apologized for the wait but still didn't have an answer. When she finally did reach back out and confirmed they had space available for our child, I told them I was disappointed in the communication but would like the slot. Because of the feedback, they reneged on our agreement and revoked our child's slot. All this after stringing us along for several months. We dodged a bullet and anyone who is looking for child care should be very cautious about enrolling with a provider who is not open to feedback and uses child care security as a punitive tool.
Brandon GodboldtJan 24, 2020Have to change our initial review. The old office manager Leighanne, who was a great communicator, no longer works here. It is now almost impossible to reach someone at the office by phone or email. Many calls and emails unanswered. Try harder guys Our toddler was recently enrolled here, and so far we are very impressed. It is very affordable, but they do not skimp on quality; in fact, they have more caregivers for the number of children attending than required! The caregivers have been here for a long time, which is rare in daycare and I think says great things about how staff is treated. We love that at drop off they help when there are tears instead of just leaving us standing by the door to deal with it alone. Also like that the menu is varied and nutritious. The app to follow your little one during the day is great, and we get detailed descriptions of what is going on. Finally, we feel the educational activities and developmental goals for the toddlers are appropriate and tend to cater to the more advanced children in the group, rather than the other way round, so we feel our child is challenged rather than coasting along.

Questions parents ask about KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER
Is KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?
- KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER holds Wisconsin licence 5000590715-001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Dane County, licensed since 2022-01-17. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER 5 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER's hours?
- The state directory lists 06:00 AM-05:30 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER take?
- The licence covers 6 weeks to 12 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects KIDS' SAFARI LEARNING CENTER's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
