My 3 year old has attended here since December and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the care our child receives. They are always willing to work around scheduling pop-ups, they keep us informed throughout the day of what she is up to, and most importantly our velcro baby loves them. She hates being anywhere that isn’t with us but every day she comes home, she tells us how much she loves it and that she can’t wait to go back. We will always be recommending them from here on out!
Hannah TaylorMar 4, 2026Our family has attended La Petite for 3 years; I have a toddler and infant in their care. We trust the team at La Petite - many staff have been there for multiple years and in some cases 20+ years. It’s clear that La Petite, under a previous long-time director’s leadership, has worked hard and prioritized leveling up their care to become higher rated via licensing standards. In our experience, we’ve had strong, open conversations with teachers who care for our kids. My kids love their teachers, have made friends, and we’ve become part of a broader community of parents whose kids get together outside of La Petite. My toddler has learned so much and generally looks forward to going to daycare!! If/when mistakes happen, which is inevitable, we are notified immediately. The La Petite team is part of our parenting team and community and we are grateful to all the teachers and administrators!
Molly JonesFeb 5, 2026We really like having our 2 year old here. They do so many things with her and everyone is so welcoming. We get updates throughout the day and the communication is great! Highly recommend!
KyFeb 3, 2026LaPetite has always been an integral part of my family since my first child in 2012, and all my kids have received exceptional care from the moment they could start with your incredible staff. I wholeheartedly recommend this location to everyone with a newborn who's hesitant to start their journey here. The best thing LaPetite did for me is provide Video Access.
Burrell FamilyJan 29, 2026The administrator, Ruby, tried to feed our son the wrong bottle on day one of daycare, which is a violation of licensing guidelines and was reported to DCF. Ruby never sincerely apologized or owned up to this, only saying "sorry for the inconvenience" and "she just never checked the bottle" when we could see her read the label through the webcam offered to parents. Additionally, feeding schedules were wildly different than explained to us by Ruby - on one occasion did he go over 4 hours without a bottle despite being awake... while she was covering in the room for another teacher. We have since left La Petite, but never felt comfortable leaving our child in her direct care for the duration of his attendance. This review is a 3/5 solely because the majority of other staff members were attentive and caring for the children.
Andrew CarverSep 26, 2025We just ended a walk through at this daycare because we witnessed a teacher SCREAMING at the children, this was the area for the children 2 1/2 years and older. When I say screaming, I mean at the top of her lungs, angry. If your children are in this daycare, PLEASE, PLEASE remove them immediately! Mind you, the director was the staff member doing the tour, when I asked if this was normal, she said nothing and did nothing. This was verbal abuse, terror and trauma for these poor children and absolutely unacceptable. I will be reporting to the state. I am so shaken and upset. I’ve never experienced anything like this.

Questions parents ask about LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA
Is LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?
- LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA holds Wisconsin licence 8000558368-011, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Dane County, licensed since 2000-07-17. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA's hours?
- The state directory lists 06:30 AM-06:00 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA take?
- The licence covers 6 weeks to 12 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects LA PETITE ACADEMY MONONA's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
