  • Dont bring your child here if you want them to remain safe and taken care of. I had to take my daughter out of here because I was concerned about her safety. Best choice I ever made. Daily I got incident reports about a child bitting mine, my daughter not being watched so she got hurt, the teachers not watching what they are doing careful enough hit her in the head pretty hard to leave a welt with the gate because they couldn't bother to look around them. Ive walked in many times and left in tears worried about my daughter's safety at this place. I had to keep asking what my daughter needed and yet one day I ask " its been awhile since ive brought in milk and no one has said anything to me?" They started off saying she should be good and then looks at milk and stutters - as the milk has been expired for a while and says " yeaaaaaaa you should probably bring more in. How long was my daughter getting expired milk for? many times in the morning I have come in with 15 kids in one room with one teacher - big kids - little kids and babies all in the same room - my daughter was being picked at and picked up and dropped around it was just too much. I couldnt and honestly didnt want to keep worrying about her when im paying them so much to watch her and they couldn't do that - since I went to another daycare I havnt had ANY of these issues

  • Little Champs have been a saving grace for our family. Our 2 boys had to make the adjustment of going from a home daycare to an actual daycare facility. From Ms. Alix being the director making sure our boys were transitioning well and communicating with us as much as she could, all the way to the teachers making our boys feel welcome, safe and excited to go to school everyday. We have had direct encounters with Ms. Star, Ms. Esme, Ms. Liz and Mr. Tyler, each of them being absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this daycare!

  • My son got bit under Mrs. Liz care and while I understand kids go through their phases of biting, hitting etc, I was told he was only bit twice. He got bit at least 4 times. So my question is how did this child get the opportunity to bite my kid so many times? When I confronted her about it being more than twice she got extremely unprofessional with me and then told me to “refrain” from texting her. This led me to leaving my job and having a meeting with her and the director. The first week of daycare she had told me I didn’t provide extra clothing for my son - but used an extra shirt from my son’s backpack for water day. He was also sent home in a size five diaper knowing he’s in pull ups. She’s argued with me about the size diaper she could use knowing the facility had pull ups and I PROVIDE pull ups. This lady had not much to say to herself during the meeting. I pulled my son from this daycare completely. I cannot trust the teacher to provide for my son and trust that he is safe. She only something written in her file that this happened, no write up etc. it was also stated in one of the text messages one of the bite marks on my son could’ve happened while she left the room - and during the meeting it was very well stated that she was overwhelmed because she was mainly alone with the kids all day. So who was with my child and the others during this moment?! This place is extremely neglectful and I would advise you not to bring your children there.

  • I have nothing but good things to say about Little Champs Academy. Over the course of the last several years, both of my children went there and were always excited to go. My husband and I are incredibly impressed with the staff's nurturing, caring and professional approach to childcare. We are truly grateful & thankful for all they have done in making our kids feel comfortable, cared for and safe over the past several years.

  • So happy with this daycare. My kids love it and I have noticed how much more advanced they are when with other children their age. I know this is because of Little champs. I have never had any concerns with the care they give to my kids. This is a place you can really trust.

  • By far the worst daycare I’ve ever sent my son to. Do not trust your children here. I cannot leave my son here & trust that he will be well taken care of. The staff is majority teens with little experience with children obviously since I drop my son off & he has not been fed all day. He had fruit snacks. Even though written on his sheet they LIED & said he had pizza popcorn & fruit snacks. I packed THREE slices of pizza & they were ALL in his lunch box still when i picked him up! Unbelievable. Along with everything else I packed him for the day. I also filled out the sheet earlier that morning g stating he had not yet ate breakfast. They are supposed to provide children with breakfast & snacks. Parents provide lunch. Come to find out they did not feed him breakfast. Which meant he did not get his “meal” of FRUIT SNACKS until 11am. So this means my son hadn’t ate since SIX PM THE NIGHT BEFORE. Well no wonder he’s whiny! I almost want to cry even thinking my baby sat there all day STARVED. this all makes sense now though... he’s been going to this day care for about a month & he’s been in several before... never have I ever picked him up from any of the other day cares & he act so whiny hungry & tired like he does here . The very next day I was given excuses as to why my son hadn’t been fed, after I told the teachers. & this shouldn’t have ever happened. How would anyone like it if they only ate fruit snacks all day. This place is SO unprofessional. I also tried to fill out a two week notice the very next day and the woman in charge of the whole daycare was very argumentative and aggressive. I almost felt is if she was trying to fistfight with me cornered me in the corner followed me from the minute I asked for the form until I got to the door was Unprofessional. this place needs to be shut down I wouldn’t recommend to anyone. I guarantee My son was not the only one not being fed.

Questions parents ask about LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I

Is LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I holds Wisconsin licence 9000588549-001, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Racine County, licensed since 2015-06-15. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I's YoungStar rating?

YoungStar rates LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I 3 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.

What are LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I's hours?

The state directory lists 05:30 AM-06:30 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I take?

The licence covers 6 weeks to 14 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects LITTLE CHAMPS ACADEMY LLC I's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
