Recent parent reviews

  • I do not normally go out of my way to leave reviews, but this one is long overdue. And If I could give zero stars, I would. At a daycare, parents should be notified of injuries promptly, regardless of how minor they may seem. Unfortunately, my son suffered a deep cut to his face that went through multiple layers of skin and ultimately left a permanent scar. Despite the severity of the injury, no one mentioned it at pickup. We only learned about it because we asked what had happened. His teacher told us that we were not informed because she “didn’t want to worry his parents” and because the owner had been notified of the injury and instructed her not to tell us. We took our son to the emergency room immediately after picking him up. The doctor told us that if he had been brought in sooner, the wound likely could have been closed with skin glue, significantly reducing or preventing the scarring he now has. When we spoke with the owner, she repeatedly referenced the daycare’s policy stating that minor cuts and injuries are not reported to parents. However, this was not a minor injury. A deep facial laceration requiring emergency medical evaluation should never be treated as something parents don’t need to know about. While the owner expressed sympathy, the policy was emphasized multiple times instead of acknowledging that this situation went far beyond what any reasonable person would consider “minor.” After this incident, we made the difficult decision to withdraw our son from the center. As parents, it’s already hard enough to leave your child in someone else’s care so you can work and provide for your family. We trusted that our son would be cared for and that we would be informed if something serious happened. Unfortunately, that trust was broken, and we can no longer recommend this daycare to other families.

Is LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?

LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE holds Wisconsin licence 2000588862-002, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Outagamie County, licensed since 2025-06-16. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.

What is LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE's YoungStar rating?

YoungStar rates LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.

What are LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE's hours?

The state directory lists 07:30 AM-05:00 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.

What ages does LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE take?

The licence covers 2 years to 11 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.

Does this page show inspection results for LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE?

No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects LITTLE LAMBS CHILD CARE's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
