We feel really lucky that we found Meeting House when we moved to Madison - it is such a great school community full of fantastic teachers, staff, and fellow families. Our two kids loved all of their classrooms and we kept them here for 4K due to the smaller class size, more cozy environment (compared to an elementary school), excellent care, and emphasis on outdoor play time. The setting is really unique, with classrooms full of natural light, whimsical playground, and native plants, a quiet place tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the near West Side. We are so grateful our kids had such a fantastic preschool experience here and will really miss Meeting House when our youngest graduates out. Can't recommend enough.
Steven HallApr 11, 2026We absolutely love Meeting House. Our son is so happy and well served by his teachers and friends there, and our daughter will be starting in the fall. Wonderful school for little ones, as it has been for 75 years.
Tim KampsFeb 1, 2025We had an unexpected transition to meeting house from a different preschool shortly after the school year began. With such a big change for our family, we were a bit nervous. However, Meeting House has been the absolute best place for our child! Miss Michelle is a kind, caring, patient and supportive teacher. She is the exact type of person I would hope to teach my child. Not only that, she extends those characteristics to the parents, too. I would highly recommend Meeting House to anyone with a preschooler.

Our son has attended school in the 2 year old class, 3 year old class and now for 4K. Amazing that this is an MMSD voucher school. Can't wait for our second son to attend next fall. The teachers here are some serious magic! As a parent who works in the home, I was so nervous about sending my child off to school and now I wish they could stay through high school. Mo & Devon on the administration team are a dynamic duo. Can't say enough wonder things about this place.
