MOMENTUM EARLY LEARNING

Our family had a difficult experience with this daycare. Our child, who has a cognitive disability, was asked to leave after the center determined she needed more support than they could provide. This decision came without prior warnings or documented concerns, which made it feel abrupt and unexpected. The behaviors mentioned were typical for toddlers, yet we were asked to provide a full time aide at our expense. The communication remained inconsistent and the center lacked a clear plan or defined expectations. We also noticed significant staff turnover during the time we were asked to leave or provide an aide. Our child was penalized for center staffing issues. Families whose children may require additional support should carefully consider these factors when evaluating this center.

I have two daughters, age 2 and 1/2 and 4 and 1/2, and both of them have been at Momentum Early Learning since they were three months old and I am so glad we found them! The staff and teachers are amazing and when you walk in you feel like every teacher/staff member knows your little one. I have really appreciated their flexibility, attention to detail, teaching experience and ability to meet children where they are at! My daughter just graduated 4K and I feel she is very ready for Kindergarten!

The teachers and staff at momentum really love and care about the kids they take care of. We took my son here since he was 6 months old and he loved going every day. He even loved playing school and pretending to be a teacher when he got home. He is now almost four and we only took him out since we were moving out of state. It was so hard to say goodbye because I knew we were leaving a daycare where almost every teacher knew him and helped him grow. And man did he grow and learn- their teachers have weekly lesson plans and teach the kids so many school and practical life skills. My daughter also went too for a little while before our move, only delayed due to COVID, and her teachers were also awesome! They made some amazing crafts I will cherish and were always at communicating with me on her mood and health. It was so nice to get such wonderful love and attention for both my littles. I highly recommend momentum if you are looking for a quality daycare and, if you desire, a new community of teachers and families.

I am so impressed with what my granddaughter is learning in her pre-K class at Momentum. She is very interested in reading now, showing me "sight words" she is being taught and tries to sound words out to me. They learned about different countries recently, even doing a little presentation on one, and her teachers make learning FUN! I think they do a great job getting kids ready for Kindergarten. And they even figured out a way to have some fun, safe special events during the pandemic the past year!

I've sent my daughter here since she was 5 months old (she's 2 now). She loves the daycare, her little friends and all the teachers. Even though there was a change in directorship, the program remains as helpful and educational as before. The communication between families and daycare, the security, learning initiatives and cleanliness have provided us with such peace of mind, especially when we're first time parents. We wholeheartedly recommend the place any chance we get!
