It's a warm and welcoming place. Met wonderful staff and volunteers from SEA Literacy.
Cruzy's MomOct 13, 2025Neighborhood house is a very good place and everyone is welcome here you never have to worry about your child safety and the staff. There are really nice. They are so helpful every time you walk into the door they always put a smile on their face.
Hope EvansSep 6, 2025I heard good reviews about the childcare and really wanted to sign my child up. Unfortunately the manager of the program has stopped responding to my emails to get on the waitlist. :(
De'Jorra ValentinAug 20, 2025I love Neighborhood House of Milwaukee, my family has been going here for a long time, great place for your kids to enjoy after school, off days and during the summer
Jazzmine CraigJul 3, 2025The Neighborhood House of Milwaukee is a fantastic organization that is TRULY there for Milwaukee's kids. From partnering with my school, to providing support in multiple ways, to my daughter's participation in the Early Childhood Program, it has had a profound impact on our lives and the community surrounding. It feels like a family, the staff listen to you and will to anything to ensure your kids and students are taken care of. I cannot say enough about how amazing this organization is. Thank you Neighborhood House for your service to the community and for being a big part of my daughter's early life. <3
Sarah MauleJun 28, 2024Great environment. Caring staff. You can trust that your child is very well taken care of while they're there. Everyone apart of the organization is very on top of things and their duties. My son loves it there so much, hes 4 years old. They have great events for the kids as well and excellent teaching methods. If you can, enroll your child! Neighborhood House all day and forever. They have small class sizes and teach your children independence and life skills as well as school curriculum and developmental skills.

Questions parents ask about NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE
Is NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?
- NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE holds Wisconsin licence 0000563840-004, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Milwaukee County, licensed since 1996-11-14. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE 5 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE's hours?
- The state directory lists 07:00 AM-05:30 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE take?
- The licence covers 6 weeks to 13 years. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE OF MILWAUKEE's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
