I really debated leaving a review for this place, but decided it was better to leave a review so other first time parents who don't know what good childcare looks like can be informed. My infant attended this daycare for a short period of time and I knew something was wrong very quickly. I never saw the teachers interact or play with the kids. Almost every day they sent her home with dirty clothes because of a "blow out" but my kid stopped having blow outs at 3 months old, so I have no clue what they were doing to her. The place was dirty and disorganized. My kid seemed to withdrawal into a shell. I picked her up as early as I could every day and got help from family to get her out early every day. We have now started a different daycare in town. We have only been at the new daycare for 2 weeks and already it's mind-blowing what a difference good childcare makes. My baby is outgoing and energetic and interactive again. The teachers are always on the floor playing with the kids at the new place. They take the kids outside every day on walks. If I knew what I was looking for when I toured peek a boo I NEVER would have sent my child here. If you want a daycare that is interactive, clean, bright, and brings out the best in your kid, do not choose Peek A Boo. Follow up: this daycare blocked me on FB for leaving this review FYI :)
Sophie GresensSep 22, 2025The staff at Peek A Boo are so kind and caring. They treat our kiddos like their own and respect our kiddo's individual personalities. We have a 3 and 1 year old currently at Peek A Boo and they are excited to go to daycare every day. Very grateful we found Peek A Boo 3 years ago!

Questions parents ask about PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE
Is PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?
- PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE holds Wisconsin licence 6000561626-003, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Sauk County, licensed since 2019-01-07. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE 3 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE's hours?
- The state directory lists 06:30 AM-05:30 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE take?
- The licence covers 2 weeks to 13 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects PEEK-A-BOO DAYCARE's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
