Your kids will love going here, and you’ll end up hating it. The teachers are awesome, and your kids will talk about them over the weekend and how much they miss them, and then the following week you’ll have new teachers. The turnover rate is crazy, they can’t keep people, but my guess is due to low wages and poor management. I imagine if you’re reading this, it is because you’re doing research on various daycares. This one is very affordable, but you’ll be spending a lot of time trying to get the right price figured out. They consistently charge parents the wrong price and cannot keep up with your child’s age to charge the right rate. You’d think when your kid turns a certain age, they would get charged the rate for that age. Instead, they feed you a line about how it’s not actually their age, but what classroom the kid is in based on ratios. However, your kid will almost never be moved into the next classroom on time. Emails go unanswered, their fines from the state keep going up, the place just needs an entire overhaul and to start clean. I teetered between 2 and 3 stars because like I said, your kids will love being there and the teachers are generally fantastic, but the headache of being a parent there is just wild.
Joseph GiornoJul 20, 2026We love Kindercare and the entire team! My only complaints ever are staffing concerns, which I can understand. I feel like a family here, though, even when new staff is introduced. I dont know what these teachers make, but if the staffing is due to compensation, as a customer I can say they definitely deserve more! They treat our entire family so well everytime we are in. They keep us well informed for as much as they can. There are harder days and I am very understanding of those circumstances. The teachers my child has had the pleasure of meeting have left a huge impact on us. I was scared at the start to leave her as I was a SAHM and not ready. But brining her here has been incredible. She has learned so much and thoroughly enjoys her time at 'school'. I am so happy we chose Kindercare 💗
Lea VorpahlJun 16, 2026To my knowledge the center does everything they advertise. I have a rambunctious 4 yr old and the center didn’t have the necessary resources to continue care for him. I had several meetings with the director and teachers to come up with a game plan and although they claimed nothing was working, I am unsure if it was actually done. That’s all cool and I understand but my biggest issue is that when the director agreed to give me a refund it’s taking longer than expected. I know if I owed money to the center it would have to be resolved immediately. I understand the process takes time but when I questioned the director about the situation she pretty much told me she didn’t process it yet. That was about a week ago and still no refund. A full two weeks of me waiting for my refund. If I don’t physically go to the center there’s no communication to resolve the issue. Overall I’m not happy with the service. Although i understand their point with discontinuing care for my son, I do not appreciate the inconvenience on the business side of the situation.
Jazia “Jaz” JohnsonNov 10, 2025This place doesnt even deserve one star , Unfortunately, I would not recommend this daycare for your children. At first glance, both online and in person, the facility appears organized and promising. However, once your child is enrolled, serious concerns become noticeable.Children are frequently moved between rooms due to staffing ratio issues, and staff call-outs seem to happen often. There have also been concerning incidents involving staff allegedly being under the influence while at work. In addition, management appears unprofessional, with gossip among coworkers creating a negative environment. More importantly, I observed behavior toward children that I found unacceptable. Some teachers yelled at children, handled them roughly by the hands, and did not consistently provide proper diaper changes or adequate hydration. These issues raise significant concerns about the level of care and attention children are receiving.I also felt that concerns brought to the attention of the state and the corporation were not taken seriously. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage parents to thoroughly research and carefully consider other childcare options before enrolling their child here.
Kendra RoseNov 7, 2025I've had my kids in several of the childcare facilities in town, whether for a summer program or all day care. KinderCare is by far the best. THE BEST. I can't say enough about how great the staff is. They find the uniqueness in your child, what makes them them, and they use that to bond and connect with your kid. They encourage personal growth and good behavior patterns. Even the teachers that aren't directly involved with your child know who they are. KinderCare really vets who they hire. A lot of the other facilities seem to hire whatever drug addict wanders in off the street. Not here. I saw one teacher at a couple other kids birthday parties! She's not getting paid for this folks, she cares about these kids and wants to be there. Ms. Amanda, Ms. Shannon, Mr. D, Ms. Kayla, Ms. Ashley. My kids love these people because they connected with them. On top of the amazing staff: Its clean, they have amazing activities, good and healthy food, solid playground, summertime fun stuff, and special events. The communication and transparency from the director and staff is wonderful. They have a handy dandy app that gets updated daily. Even though we're now at the end of our full time care journey, we're definitely bringing the kids back for the summer program. KinderCare is the best option for child care in town. Worth every penny. *mic drop*
Jeff StaceyAug 22, 2025As a new parent and new to childcare services, I was terrified of leaving my one and only child in someone else's hands. My son has been with Kindercare since he was 4 months old, and at 2.5 years old, he has progressed exponentially. I cannot attribute this growth enough to his teachers. My son has never really liked drop-offs, but since starting in his new room with Miss Amanda and Miss Maddy, he is actually pushing me out of the door in the morning. They are always excited to see him and in turn, this makes drop-offs so much easier and fun. These two teachers (as many teachers do at Kindercare) came in during this weekend to help organize some new supplies for the room. It just goes to show the selfless attitude the teachers at Kindercare have towards the children. I am always informed promptly if there are any illnesses or accidents, and there are many events held for parents/children to interact together with the staff. As a near 10-year teacher myself, I understand intimately staffing issues in education/childcare industry, and Kindercare is doing its best to handle those with the children's interest and growth at heart. I would absolutely send my next child here along with my son. Thank you, Miss Amanda and Miss Maddy!

Questions parents ask about PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE
Is PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE a licensed child care provider in Wisconsin?
- PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE holds Wisconsin licence 0000580590-093, listed as "LICENSED" by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families in Kenosha County, licensed since 2022-12-05. Confirm current standing on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov before enrolling.
What is PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE's YoungStar rating?
- YoungStar rates PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE 2 stars out of five. The rating covers staff education, the learning environment, business practices and child well-being, not inspection outcomes, and it is separate from the licence.
What are PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE's hours?
- The state directory lists 06:15 AM-06:00 PM, Jan-Dec, full time. Wisconsin records the daily window but not which days it applies to, and hours change without the licence record changing, so call ahead.
What ages does PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE take?
- The licence covers 6 weeks to 11 years 11 months. That is the span Wisconsin licenses the provider for, not a list of the rooms it runs, so ask which age groups it is actually staffing.
Does this page show inspection results for PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE?
- No. Wisconsin publishes licensing violations for each provider, and none of them are included here, so nothing on this page reflects PLEASANT PRAIRIE KINDERCARE's inspection history either way. Read the violation record on the state's provider search at childcarefinder.wisconsin.gov.
